Wanted to board a Keke tricycle home. Two other passengers, a woman and a young guy were seated already. On seeing me the guy came down giving way for me to go in. I stood looking at him askingly and he blurted out
I can't stay in between two women.
I was like are you serious?
He moved away and sat at the front with the driver. I got in and another guy entered after me.
His behavior is exactly what we see here everyday. I don't understand where some male folks got this mentality from. They feel it's their right to stay by the door in a vehicle while the female stays inside. What the heck?
I would also prefer to sit at the corner when two unknown ladies are my co-passengers.
First, it's not comfortable for me, and i guess will be for others two.
if i Knew the femailes i would have sat in the middle.
So more on perspective
Oh, really? You're already seated after a female and when you see another one coming to enter, you will come down expecting her to enter inside so you can sit by the corner? That's not ideal, you know.
Everyone has the right to sit at their own position.
No, i ask if they are comfortable me sitting in middle, if not then i will move out and let her sit in the middle.
As i said, if i knew that person, i don't mind sitting in the middle.
it's more about the situation.
Beautiful, that's being mindful of their comfort and feelings but here, some men see it as their right.
They need to grow up.
