Another reason to hate centralized banks. Roy had to open a checking account to handle his deceased sister's estate. One of the utilities for which he paid a bill sent him a refund check because it was presumably an overpayment. So, he deposited the check into the estate checking account. The check was for just over $23 USD. A few days ago he received a letter from the bank saying that the check had been returned and charged back to the account. And he got a 15 dollar service charge against the account. What BS! Yes, they're still a necessary evil.
They do care a great deal about their customers.
Huh? I know you're joking
I never joke. Are you saying I am funny?
I think the word I really wanted was sarcastic. But you're a little funny too. 😂
I should do a story about ShakePay here in Canada. It is a Bitcon app only for Canadians (sadly). But you can now pay your bills with them and move your paycheck over to direct depost with them.
Our other checking accounts don't charge fees like that because we have senior citizen accounts. LOL So we kind of forgot about the other types of checking accounts. We pay some stuff with Venmo and Zelle.
benefits of getting old. Lol
There has to be something besides aches and pains. LOL
lol. Enjoyment? !DOOK
