You're welcome! I'm glad you found the post useful.

There's more I need to learn regarding diesel pools/liquidity pools, but they are a great way to lock in the tokens of interest without staking them. Just be sure to contribute both the base token and the quote token in a 50/50 split.

A good number of diesel pools are oriented toward the gaming tokens. A few of those feature Splinterlands tokens, and others feature tokens or other games as well as general gaming tokens. Take a look through the Pools section of Tribaldex to see which pool(s) appeal to you.

Wow there are a ton there! I'm going to give it a go on a small scale and see what happens. Thanks!!

I'm a small-scale investor myself, but over time the numbers work in our favor and grow larger. I'm still small-scale in the diesel pool, but that's beacuse I'm spread too thin.

I started with 20 HIVE-worth of SWAP.HIVE and 20 HIVE-worth of quote tokens. After that, periodic or occasional contributions of even small amounts of base and quote tokens add up. Think of it as doing DCA. Whatever and whenever you can contribute will help.

That makes so much sense! I put 6 Hive worth into the swap.HIVE/PLN pool you mentioned. It's definitely worth seeing what happens!! I'm really getting into Hive blogging so this seems like a good way to invest some of my earnings. Thanks again! Keep us posted on how you do.

6 HIVE is a good start! The hardest part of being on Hive is reaching a point where we can use our earnings to do the fun stuff like delegate HP or buy other Layer 2 tokens.

After reaching that point, the earnings begin to arrive faster or at least more consistently. Post as often as you can, and engage as even more often.

If you and I both do those 2 things, then over time the numbers and earnings will take care of themselves-- but we need to be consistent with both.

That makes a ton of sense! I've been posting about twice a week and I'm really starting to comment more on other's posts. It seems like a great way to build community and help other people with their posts too!

Hivers helping Hivers-- that's what we do here!

When tagging your posts, here are some other genral-topic token tags you can use if you have room for them: {cent}, {pal}, {archon}, and {bht}. Besides the ones you commonly use, these token tags offer decent value for the upvotes you get from people reading your content from their communities or tribes.

In the event your posts discuss Hive Engine, LeoDex, or Tribaldex in some way, you may want to use these tags: {bee} (the native token for Hive Engine), {hive-engine}, {leodex}, or {tribaldex}. They may all end up being aliases for {bee}, so use whichever one seems relevant. Additionally, Tribaldex has its on blog.

Unfortunately, we're limited to 10 tags total, I haven't figured out a workaround for using more tags on our posts, so all I can suggest is to use relevant topic tags first then token tags for the remainder.
