Samuel Armes, political strategist and president of the Florida Blockchain Business Association (FBBA) says the Sunshine State is looking to launch a strategic Bitcoin (BTC) reserve.
In a post on social media platform X, Armes says Florida will likely create its own stockpile of the leading crypto asset amid support from pro-Bitcoin leaders.
“Florida has a very good chance of creating a strategic Bitcoin reserve this session, which starts in Q1 of 2025.”
Armes says Florida can build its crypto reserve by using a small portion of the state’s pension fund, which already invests in Bitcoin and crypto-related assets.
“[We can] leverage our $185.7 billion pension fund (4th largest in the U.S.) to allocate a small percentage to Bitcoin as a hedge against inflation…Just investing ONE percent of our pension fund into Bitcoin would be $1.857 billion.”
He says Florida can also tap into its budget surplus to invest in Bitcoin without cutting essential services.
“Inflation and time will eat away at any budget surpluses we have. Investing just ONE percent of our surplus would be $1.165 billion.”
Last month, Florida chief financial officer (CFO) Jimmy Patronis said that the state government already has $800 million worth of crypto-related investments and could accumulate more.
“Crypto’s not going anywhere. It’s not going to contract. It’s going to continue to be expanding, and I think we’d be a fool if we’re not prepared to do everything we can to harness the opportunities there.”

I went from a consumer to a saver/investor, and this is a big shift.
I don't want to buy the product, I want to own the process, IP, research, factories, etc... that build that product and that help progress our tech. I want to check 2 or 3 different companies and compare their tech and see which one has more potential and put money on it. For example Intel vs Apple when it comes to processors makes me go for Apple because long term I think CISC based processors are worse than RISC.
Consumers call investors like me crazy and "cheap", but it's just that I don't want to spend money on things I don't really need, I would rather buy the companies that produce those things.
Maybe I'm also a consumer, I just consume buying assets/companies.
I saw it described this way when it comes to the governing tokens of DEX's: why own a crypto when you can own a piece of the DEX? Why own CDs or cash in accounts when you can own the bank?

Strong move and the bull run rushed into the InLeo ecosystem as well. And it's only beginning...
When I started investing my mentality totally changed...
I went from a consumer to a saver/investor, and this is a big shift.
I don't want to buy the product, I want to own the process, IP, research, factories, etc... that build that product and that help progress our tech. I want to check 2 or 3 different companies and compare their tech and see which one has more potential and put money on it. For example Intel vs Apple when it comes to processors makes me go for Apple because long term I think CISC based processors are worse than RISC.
Consumers call investors like me crazy and "cheap", but it's just that I don't want to spend money on things I don't really need, I would rather buy the companies that produce those things.
Maybe I'm also a consumer, I just consume buying assets/companies.

Isso por algumas razões que vou abordar brevemente
A primeira razão é que a equipe por trás do dungeon cities parece ser inexperiente, então esse jogo seria mais como um experimento na minha opinião
Outra razão pra pensar no curto prazo em relação ao Dungeon CIties é que não tenho tempo pra jogar muitos jogos ao mesmo tempo e quero preservar meu tempo para o HoloZing. O open alpha não deve demorar muito
E por fim, não me vejo jogando Dungeon Cities por muito tempo porque, embora eu goste de text-based rpgs, dependo de como for, não vai prender minha atenção por muito tempo
