I'm not saying that images don't work, I'm talking about the fixed and left-aligned placement at the bottom of a thread that prevents tags and subtitles below the image and also a call to action placed directly at the polls, leaving less opportunity for premiums to create threads that stand out from others that make less effort. Plus it destroyed the look of a heck of a lot older threads and the effort that was put into them! This is a step backwards and towards boring looking web2 feeds imo.
I think you should remove it from the list, the less clutter, the best!
