Ultimately, there is no such thing as "my consciousness," but just the one consciousness and to sense your connectedness with the one (I can sense that continuously, which is why I can say that I know this for sure) to sense that connectedness with the one consciousness that pervades the universe, which in some traditions is called God, to sense that frees you of fear, from anxiety, and takes you to a very deep place of peace, but also of heightened aliveness.
Be aware that what you think, to a large extent, creates the emotions that you feel. See the link between your thinking and your emotions. Rather than being your thoughts and emotions, be the awareness behind them.
To the ego, the present moment hardly exists. Only past and future are considered important. This total reversal of the truth accounts for the fact that in the ego mode the mind is so dysfunctional. It is always concerned with keeping the past alive, because without it - who are you?
Is fear preventing you from taking action? Acknowledge the fear, watch it, take your attention into it, be fully present with it. Doing so cuts the link between the fear and your thinking. Don't let the fear rise up into your mind. Use the power of the Now. Fear cannot prevail against it.

It would threaten your identity as a depressed, angry or hard-done by person. You will then ignore, deny or sabotage the positive in your life. This is a common phenomenon. It is also insane.
Remember that your perception of the world is a reflection of your state of consciousness. You are not separate from it, and there is no objective world out there. Every moment,
your consciousness creates the world that you inhabit.
Your inner purpose is to awaken. It is as simple as that. You share that purpose with every other person on the planet - because it is the purpose of humanity.
People tend to dwell more on negative things than on good things. So the mind then becomes obsessed with negative things, with judgments, guilt and anxiety produced by thoughts about the future and so on.
Wouldn't it be wonderful if you could spare them from all suffering? No, it wouldn't. They would not evolve as human beings and would remain shallow, identified with the external form of things. Suffering drives you deeper. The paradox is that suffering is caused by identification with form and erodes identification with form. A lot of it is caused by the ego, although eventually suffering destroys the ego-but not until you suffer consciously.
Don't judge or analyze what you observe. Watch the thought, feel the emotion, observe the reaction. Don't make a personal problem out of them. You will then feel something more powerful than any of those things that you observe: the still, observing presence itself behind the content of your mind, the silent watcher.
If you cannot be at ease with yourself when alone, you will seek a relationship to cover up your unease. You can be sure that the unease will then reappear in some other form within the relationship, and you will probably hold your partner responsible for it.
If your mind carries a heavy burden of past, you will experience more of the same. The past perpetuates itself through lack of presence. The quality of your consciousness at this moment is what shapes the future.
If your relationship to the present moment is not right - nothing can ever be right in the future - because when the future comes - it's the present moment.
Acceptance looks like a passive state, but in reality it brings something entirely new into this world. That peace, a subtle energy vibration, is consciousness.
When there's somebody there who is transparent enough so that the stillness comes through unhindered, there's a reciprocal movement in you because the presence of stillness suddenly recognizes itself.

Epic is suing Google and Samsung, claiming that the tech giants colluded to place onerous restrictions on app stores. The lawsuit alleges that Google and Samsung made it too difficult for consumers to download app stores from outside software developers by making a feature called Auto Blocker active by default on Samsung's newest smartphones. The feature prevents users from downloading alternative app stores. Turning off the feature and installing a third-party app store requires 21 steps. The friction has caused 50% of users trying to install the Epic Games Store on Android to give up before they've gotten it installed.

Ryu developed a new composite fiber that managed to effectively block neutrons in space radiation - neutrons negatively affect the biology of living things and cause electronic equipment to malfunction, posing a major threat to long-term space missions.
The composite is the result of a mixture of boron nitride nanotubes (BNNTs) and aramid polymers. Like carbon, boron can also form monoatomic sheets, like graphene - properly rolled up, these sheets give rise to boron nanotubes. Aramid, in turn, is a class of polymers to which very resistant materials belong, such as the well-known Kevlar®.
By controlling the interaction between the two one-dimensional nanomaterials, the team developed a technique to seamlessly mix the two. Based on this stabilized mixed solution, they produced lightweight, flexible and continuous fibers that do not burn at temperatures up to 500 °C.
Boron nanotubes have a similar structure to carbon nanotubes, but because they contain a large number of boron in the lattice structure, their neutron absorption capacity is about 200,000 times greater than that of their carbon cousins.
The idea is that these composite fibers are transformed into fabrics of the appropriate shape and size for use in clothing and spacecraft coverings, effectively blocking the transmission of neutron radiation.
Furthermore, the ceramic nature of boron nanotubes makes them highly resistant to heat, so they can be used in extreme environments such as defense and firefighting, and not just for space applications. In addition to firefighters, healthcare professionals and power plant workers are often exposed to this type of radiation.
These fabrics can also be applied directly to electronic components, such as processors and other integrated circuits of satellites, space probes and other unmanned spacecraft.

Another relevant factor is that the process was specially designed to use materials with low incorporated CO2, such as locally excavated earth. The ETH Zurich team developed a specific mixture that includes local secondary materials and a minimum amount of mineral additives, which guarantees strength and stability to the built structures.

A statue of one of the last Beothuk families now overlooks their traditional land, after the Town of Botwood unveiled a bronze sculpture in their likeness on Monday.
The tribute to Demasduit, her husband Nonosabasut and their infant child was formally recognized by provincial and town officials and First Nations leaders, who gathered on one of the highest points in the Exploits Valley region to honour the family.
The site overlooks the area where Demasduit is believed to have died, says Botwood Mayor James Sceviour — "a traditional home" for Beothuk.
The monument is made up of three figures looking out to the harbour, one of them being Demasduit, who was one of the last of the Beothuk. She died as a captive to European settlers just over 200 years ago, on board the HMS Grasshopper, which was moored in Botwood's harbour at the time.
