I think for serious writers the platforms compliment each other very well. Hive allows you to monetize quickly and participate in a new kind of social media as well as plan for a decentralized future. Meanwhile Substack is good for finding a niche audience regardless of topic.

The devastation from this storm is incredible.
We've had beach hazard statements on Lake Michigan. I think it was rainy one day last week but no severe weather or loss of electric power. I like living in the Midwest anyway but when I see what happens in other places like with Hurricane Helene I am even more happy to live here. Those poor people. I saw some of it when my Dad was watching the news and I happened to be downstairs.

On Friday, judge Thomas S. Hixson denied the company’s attempt to extend that deadline, describing the request as “bad behavior.” So Apple’s deadline is still Monday, September 30: “It’s up to Apple to figure out how to meet the deadline, but Monday is indeed the deadline.”
This is just the latest chapter in the ongoing legal dispute between Apple and Fortnite-maker Epic Games, which has been fighting Apple’s App Store rules. While Apple was largely successful in U.S. district court, the court did order the company to loosen its App Store rules, giving developers more freedom to collect payments and subscription fees without using Apple’s in-app payment platform.

I think for serious writers the platforms compliment each other very well. Hive allows you to monetize quickly and participate in a new kind of social media as well as plan for a decentralized future. Meanwhile Substack is good for finding a niche audience regardless of topic.
I think many people will want to use both. I use it instead of X now.

I think that the bull run, both in crypto and in stocks, is about to start.

Not so sure about those wars being about to end... Russia - Ukraine is a chess game with very little movement. And in the Middle East things could get explose very easily with Iran at the buttons...
I don't think Iran will do anything, they might send some drones or missiles but that's it, especially now with Hezbollah in pieces.
Iran preferes to wage wars via proxies and not themselves.
Ukraine Russia war is exhausted with almost no significant changes in frontlines, I don't see the war going on for a longer time than 1 year.
