The former Knicks point guard announced his retirement on Instagram Thursday, posting a photo of him holding a newspaper, which included a love letter to basketball.
“The next chapter is about chasing my dreams and sharing my growth,” Rose told The Athletic.
“I believe true success comes from becoming who you were created to be, and I want to show the world who I am beyond basketball.
“Whether good or bad, everyone has a ‘what if’ story in their life. Even if I could, I wouldn’t change anything in mine, because it’s what helped me find real joy.”
It came after Rose, who will turns 35 in October, shared an Instagram video of him holding a rose while journaling, captioned: “The Renascence 9.26.24.”

O aporte seria feito pelo empresário norte-americano Foster Gillett, e chegaria a 120 milhões de dólares (R$ 650 milhões na cotação atual). Afinal, o Estudiantes pode receber o investimento sem virar uma empresa? O clube mudaria o modelo institucional na disputa entre governo e federação?
Ao contrário do Brasil, os times argentinos não podem existir como clubes-empresas. A lei não permite, mas um decreto do presidente Javier Milei ficou próximo de mudar a situação no país. O caso, porém, não é simples e envolve a AFA.
A entidade máxima do futebol na Argentina não apoia as SADs (equivalente às SAFs no país vizinho), assim como a larga maioria dos clubes, como confirmado em votação unânime contra o modelo realizada em novembro de 2023. Na ocasião, todos os 45 presentes defenderam o modelo de associação civil.
Mas por qual motivo não existem Sociedades Anônimas no futebol argentino? O contexto do país é muito diferente do brasileiro. Enquanto o River Plate ultrapassou os 350 mil sócios, a segunda maior marca do mundo, outros clubes também possuem números significativos, até mesmo os considerados menores.
– Os clubes da Argentina são democratizados. Os sócios participam diretamente de eleições, de assembleias, aprovação e reprovação de contas. Eles participam de uma forma mais intensa e massiva comparando com os clubes brasileiros. É outra cultura de clube.
Javier Milei, porém, quer mudar a situação no país, e é a favor do investimento privado nos clubes de futebol. Ídolo do clube e campeão da Libertadores de 2009, vencida contra o Cruzeiro, Juan Sebastián Verón é um dos grandes da história do Estudiantes. Hoje, "La Brujita" está no comando do clube. Presidente, Verón é opositor da AFA. O ex-jogador é crítico do campeonato com mais de 20 equipes e também faz duras cobranças sobre a arbitragem do país. Agora, ele também se posiciona ao lado de Milei pelo investimento externo.
Mesmo sem as SADs, o Estudiantes ainda pode receber o investimento de 120 milhões de dólares sem entregar o comando do clube para o americano Foster Gillett, que pretende injetar o dinheiro no clube. Afinal, o que pode ser feito?
Existem diferentes modelos para "driblar" o regulamento que proíbe as SADs. Os alemães sabem bem disso. Lá, não é permitido que uma empresa ou indivíduo seja dono de mais de 50% do clube. Assim, 49% da organização poderiam ser colocados a venda, enquanto o clube seria o dono da maior parte. Outro método é o "gerenciamento", usado por Belgrano, Defensa y Justicia e Talleres, em que o controle do futebol seria cedido a uma empresa em troca de dinheiro.
As duas opções não parecem estar no horizonte de Verón, que perderia grande parte do controle que detém hoje no Estudiantes. Ao ge, o jornalista Lucas Cislaghi, do Diário Olé, principal jornal esportivo da Argentina, afirmou que o clube nega os dois modelos mais comuns. Segundo Cislaghi, o time de La Plata deve realizar um comunicado sobre o assunto nas próximas semanas.
– Os aportes não vão mudar o quadro institucional do Estudiantes, onde esperam devolver o dinheiro ao empresário por meio da venda de jogadores, premiações internacionais, receitas no estádio e assim por diante. O Estudiantes não será uma SAD nem será gerido, uma vez que o estatuto da AFA não o permite neste momento. As contribuições chegarão de forma colaborativa e serão devolvidas de boa fé – afirmou o jornalista argentino.
A princípio, o investimento deve ser feito na infraestrutura do clube. O centro de treinamento, a academia de base e o Estádio Jorge Luis Hirschi, o UNO, devem receber mudanças com o investimento de Foster Gillett. Na última sexta-feira, Verón publicou um vídeo nas redes sociais em que filmava a casa do Estudiantes e dizia que "poderia ser uma das últimas vezes que o veriam assim".
– A primeira coisa a fazer é olhar para os maus exemplos das empresas, não para os bons. Se olharmos para as sociedades civis que faliram na Argentina, são muitas. Possivelmente no futuro possamos ter algum tipo de discussão com uma proposta mais armada. Devemos perder os medos e projetar um clube cada vez maior. Pode ser um sistema híbrido ou misto, onde ambas as coisas coexistem. Ninguém vai vir comprar o Estudiantes, mas ser parceiro de futebol, sim – disse o presidente e ídolo do clube.
Gillett não é novo no mundo do futebol. Seu pai, George Gillett, comprou o Liverpool em 2007, e Foster participou do conselho administrativo do clube inglês. Três anos depois, o americano vendeu o time inglês para os atuais donos, a Fenway Sports Group. Esse foi o tempo exato em que Javier Mascherano atuou pelos Reds. O ex-jogador foi o responsável por Foster Gillett se apaixonar pelo futebol argentino.
– Tive interesse pelo futebol argentino durante toda a minha vida. Minha primeira experiência foi no Liverpool com Javier Mascherano , que mostrou tanto comprometimento com a causa que me chamou a atenção para o que significa ser um jogador de futebol argentino. Sempre me lembro de como Javier jogou em Anfield (estádio do Liverpool) e os torcedores gritavam seu nome – disse o empresário.

This season was so easy for me. Like too easy. I'm not sure where you live but I play the games on the daily quests and do the RLT requirements through CPX surveys. It is agony but I get it done. I know a lot of people can't do cpx
I dread them but now they have those weekend quests which line up with the weekly quests so that is basically earn 10 RLT on cpx and get 40 RLT bonus. I have 300 RLT in the bank. That is 100 for next season and 200 to blow on miners

And one of the most interesting pieces, well, there were two, but one of the most interesting pieces to me was the conversational piece. We've seen this with OpenAI. So now we have a situation, potentially, that perhaps we could see Leo AI as a conversational bot. Think of what that can create. Think of what that can generate. Think of what can be done with that in this pathway to personal AI assistance.
Llama 3.2 has image recognition. What this means is instead of just simply being text, it's multimodal. That means you can feed an image into Lama 3.2 and get an output. You can manipulate it, you can alter it, you can change it. This is a huge step forward. Now will this be available on Leo AI? I don't know. We have to wait to see if there are compatibility or incompatibility issues. But the point being, the more powerful Meta makes Lama, the better it is for Leo AI.

Em meio a disputa entre Javier Milei, presidente da Argentina, com a Associação do Futebol Argentino (AFA) pela legalização das SADs (Sociedades Anônimas Desportivas), o Estudiantes está próximo de receber o maior investimento externo da história de um clube do país.
O aporte seria feito pelo empresário norte-americano Foster Gillett, e chegaria a 120 milhões de dólares (R$ 650 milhões na cotação atual). Afinal, o Estudiantes pode receber o investimento sem virar uma empresa? O clube mudaria o modelo institucional na disputa entre governo e federação?

Ao contrário do Brasil, os times argentinos não podem existir como clubes-empresas. A lei não permite, mas um decreto do presidente Javier Milei ficou próximo de mudar a situação no país. O caso, porém, não é simples e envolve a AFA.
A entidade máxima do futebol na Argentina não apoia as SADs (equivalente às SAFs no país vizinho), assim como a larga maioria dos clubes, como confirmado em votação unânime contra o modelo realizada em novembro de 2023. Na ocasião, todos os 45 presentes defenderam o modelo de associação civil.
Mas por qual motivo não existem Sociedades Anônimas no futebol argentino? O contexto do país é muito diferente do brasileiro. Enquanto o River Plate ultrapassou os 350 mil sócios, a segunda maior marca do mundo, outros clubes também possuem números significativos, até mesmo os considerados menores.
– Os clubes da Argentina são democratizados. Os sócios participam diretamente de eleições, de assembleias, aprovação e reprovação de contas. Eles participam de uma forma mais intensa e massiva comparando com os clubes brasileiros. É outra cultura de clube.
Javier Milei, porém, quer mudar a situação no país, e é a favor do investimento privado nos clubes de futebol. Em dezembro de 2023, o presidente publicou um decreta com uma série de mudanças para mudar a economia argentina. No pacote, previa-se a mudança da Lei Geral de Sociedades, de 1984, para permitir que as associações esportivas se tornem Sociedades Anônimas caso dois terços dos associados aprovem.
A AFA foi contra a medida de Milei, que respondeu. Há pouco mais de um mês, em agosto, o presidente argentino decretou que “qualquer direito de uma organização desportiva não pode ser impedido, privado ou prejudicado em razão de sua forma jurídica, seja uma associação civil ou uma corporação, desde que seja reconhecido por lei”.
Ídolo do clube e campeão da Libertadores de 2009, vencida contra o Cruzeiro, Juan Sebastián Verón é um dos grandes da história do Estudiantes. Hoje, "La Brujita" está no comando do clube. Presidente, Verón é opositor da AFA. O ex-jogador é crítico do campeonato com mais de 20 equipes e também faz duras cobranças sobre a arbitragem do país. Agora, ele também se posiciona ao lado de Milei pelo investimento externo.
Mesmo sem as SADs, o Estudiantes ainda pode receber o investimento de 120 milhões de dólares sem entregar o comando do clube para o americano Foster Gillett, que pretende injetar o dinheiro no clube. Afinal, o que pode ser feito?
Existem diferentes modelos para "driblar" o regulamento que proíbe as SADs. Os alemães sabem bem disso. Lá, não é permitido que uma empresa ou indivíduo seja dono de mais de 50% do clube. Assim, 49% da organização poderiam ser colocados a venda, enquanto o clube seria o dono da maior parte. Outro método é o "gerenciamento", usado por Belgrano, Defensa y Justicia e Talleres, em que o controle do futebol seria cedido a uma empresa em troca de dinheiro.
As duas opções não parecem estar no horizonte de Verón, que perderia grande parte do controle que detém hoje no Estudiantes. Ao ge, o jornalista Lucas Cislaghi, do Diário Olé, principal jornal esportivo da Argentina, afirmou que o clube nega os dois modelos mais comuns. Segundo Cislaghi, o time de La Plata deve realizar um comunicado sobre o assunto nas próximas semanas.
– Os aportes não vão mudar o quadro institucional do Estudiantes, onde esperam devolver o dinheiro ao empresário por meio da venda de jogadores, premiações internacionais, receitas no estádio e assim por diante. O Estudiantes não será uma SAD nem será gerido, uma vez que o estatuto da AFA não o permite neste momento. As contribuições chegarão de forma colaborativa e serão devolvidas de boa fé – afirmou o jornalista argentino.
A princípio, o investimento deve ser feito na infraestrutura do clube. O centro de treinamento, a academia de base e o Estádio Jorge Luis Hirschi, o UNO, devem receber mudanças com o investimento de Foster Gillett. Na última sexta-feira, Verón publicou um vídeo nas redes sociais em que filmava a casa do Estudiantes e dizia que "poderia ser uma das últimas vezes que o veriam assim".
– A primeira coisa a fazer é olhar para os maus exemplos das empresas, não para os bons. Se olharmos para as sociedades civis que faliram na Argentina, são muitas. Possivelmente no futuro possamos ter algum tipo de discussão com uma proposta mais armada. Devemos perder os medos e projetar um clube cada vez maior. Pode ser um sistema híbrido ou misto, onde ambas as coisas coexistem. Ninguém vai vir comprar o Estudiantes, mas ser parceiro de futebol, sim – disse o presidente e ídolo do clube.
Gillett não é novo no mundo do futebol. Seu pai, George Gillett, comprou o Liverpool em 2007, e Foster participou do conselho administrativo do clube inglês. Três anos depois, o americano vendeu o time inglês para os atuais donos, a Fenway Sports Group. Esse foi o tempo exato em que Javier Mascherano atuou pelos Reds. O ex-jogador foi o responsável por Foster Gillett se apaixonar pelo futebol argentino.
– Tive interesse pelo futebol argentino durante toda a minha vida. Minha primeira experiência foi no Liverpool com Javier Mascherano , que mostrou tanto comprometimento com a causa que me chamou a atenção para o que significa ser um jogador de futebol argentino. Sempre me lembro de como Javier jogou em Anfield (estádio do Liverpool) e os torcedores gritavam seu nome – disse o empresário.
O Estudiantes foi o último clube de Mascherano, aposentado em 2020. Não foi apenas o futebol do ex-zagueiro que levou Gillett a considerar um investimento milionário no clube. A gestão de Verón teria impressionado Foster, que já falou aos torcedores de "Los Pincha" sobre o investimento.
– Minha mensagem aos torcedores é que se trata de melhorar o que já possuem, que acredito que os argentinos criam um dos melhores ambientes do mundo para o futebol e alguns dos melhores jogadores do mundo – completou Foster Gillett.

Kramer said his doctors told him at his one-year checkup that the dementia hasn't advanced and that he has stopped consuming alcohol to better cope with it.
"Please, no sympathy," Kramer wrote. "I've lived a great life and wouldn't change a thing. Nobody wanted to win more than me and I never gave up, and that's exactly how I'm going to battle this."
Kramer, a native of San Antonio, Texas, was drafted in the first round out of Rice by the Vikings in 1977. He was given the nickname "Two Minute Tommy" for his late-game success, most famously a 46-yard Hail Mary pass for a touchdown in 1980 that was tipped and caught with one hand by Ahmad Rashad to cap a comeback victory over Cleveland Browns that clinched a division title for Minnesota. Kramer passed for 456 yards and four touchdowns in that game.

Senior NBA writer Zach Lowe has been laid off by the network, The Athletic’s Andrew Marchand reported.
Lowe had been with ESPN for more than a decade, having joined Bill Simmons’ Grantland vertical in 2012 after writing for Sports Illustrated.

Murilo foi internado em estado grave no Hospital Infantil de Vitória na noite do último dia 21/09, após ter sido baleado na cabeça, ele lutou bravamente, mas infelizmente na noite do último dia 25/09 a equipe médica que acompanhou Murilo constatou a morte cerebral do jovem de apenas 14 anos.
De acordo com a Polícia Militar, o amigo de 15 anos contou que os dois estavam na casa dele, quando ele pegou um revólver que estava guardado no cofre do quarto do pai e mostrou a arma para o amigo. Segundo o jovem, o jogador acabou disparando contra si próprio ao manusear a arma.
Uma equipe do Serviço de Atendimento Móvel de Urgência (Samu) foi acionada e prestou os primeiros atendimentos ao adolescente, que foi encaminhado ao Hospital Infantil de Vitória.
O pai do menino baleado contou que foi surpreendido com uma ligação de um policial, por volta das 23h30, avisando sobre um acidente e que o filho estava sendo levado para o hospital.
Recebi a ligação de um cabo da Polícia Militar alegando que o meu filho tinha sofrido um acidente e estava sendo encaminhado para o hospital. Ele falou que teve um disparo de arma de fogo dentro de uma residência. [...] O meu filho já chegou no hospital em um estado muito grave - contou.
Eu não sei onde fica essa residência, não sei que é o pai do menino, não sei quem é esse garoto, não sei com quem o meu filho estava no momento em que aconteceu essa tragédia. Não tenho informação nenhuma.

I will say that is hard to gain ground on the leaders. I am trying to get miners with low power and high bonus until I get to 500 bonus power. Then I will go for power. I earn almost 7 Doge per day .

This season was so easy for me. Like too easy. I'm not sure where you live but I play the games on the daily quests and do the RLT requirements through CPX surveys. It is agony but I get it done. I know a lot of people can't do cpx
Yeah, those CPX surveys I just wont bother myself with that's my issue with the season lol
I dread them but now they have those weekend quests which line up with the weekly quests so that is basically earn 10 RLT on cpx and get 40 RLT bonus. I have 300 RLT in the bank. That is 100 for next season and 200 to blow on miners

Leo AI benefits from Meta. There was Metcom and Zuckerberg rolled out a lot of things, specifically LLAMA 3.2. And one of the most interesting pieces, well, there were two, but one of the most interesting pieces to me was the conversational piece. We've seen this with OpenAI. So now we have a situation, potentially, that perhaps we could see Leo AI as a conversational bot. Think of what that can create. Think of what that can generate. Think of what can be done with that in this pathway to personal AI assistance.

The $HIVE price popping up has helped the funds USD value back up over $23,000 which is nice to see. HIVE value of the fund drops as the HBD's we hold are worth less HIVE. $LEO value hasn't changed much.
The dynamics of the per token value during significant price moves are interesting to observe.
