They are lucky if we can send them to private schools because of better quality of teachers, facilities and system in general. However, our focus as parents should be on our children NOT on the school. Whichever school we send them to, if our children are problematic, then we have a problem.

Or, "What made you happy today?” and other questions of some sort will enable them to open up about their in school or about how they feel in general. That is an opportunity for us too to observe if something bothered them for the day, and as we do this often, we can observe their daily progress not just as a student but as a child who is supposed to be happy and safe with his/her childhood and nothing else. Their answers should also be a clue for us how to adjust with the behavior they show us.
4/ 🧵Let us not impose on them what we want for them. Rather, allow them to find their passion. Imposing is so common among some parents, believing that we know what is best for our children. Be reminded that what we wish for our children may not necessarily be the best for them. For example, fathers usually want their sons to love basketball, but not all young boys love basketball. Teachers teach us math and physics formulas, but we always forget because we are not interested in numbers. No matter how we force our children to love something, if their interest is not there, they will not shine. So, let us allow them to find whatever will make them express their authentic selves.

All I'm saying is that US is practising democracy: government of the people for the people by the people. The executive, judiciary, and legislators are independent. And so judiciary is supposed to be independent to pass judgement on defaulters without interference, (not even from the white house). Some politicians abuse (democracy) because they are highly placed.
That is what everyone calls it. We do not vote on our issues. We elect representatives who are suppose to represent us and our desires. Of course, as I am sure you are aware, politicians do not operate like that. They only care about themselves.
If is fully within Joe Biden's right to pardon his son. The President can issue a pardon to whomever he wants and nobody can do anything about it.
That is a privilege given to the President and he requires the consent of nobody for it. He also does not have to answer for it, especially when on his way out.
That is in theory. In practice is quite different matter, as Trump learned in 2021 when he contemplated pardoning Assange, Snowden and Ulbricht and got some "friendly" call from Mitch McConnell and Senate Republicans about whether how they would vote on his upcoming second impeachment trial.
I'm sure the government will collect their $$$ Fee and move on with no jail time like always. These lawsuits vs the wealthy are just paychecks for the government.

I'm taking my car to get its final state inspection. Starting in January, Texas will no longer require annual vehicle inspections. They'll just issue citations if your car is out of compliance.

What is a democracy?
All I'm saying is that US is practising democracy: government of the people for the people by the people. The executive, judiciary, and legislators are independent. And so judiciary is supposed to be independent to pass judgement on defaulters without interference, (not even from the white house). Some politicians abuse (democracy) because they are highly placed.
The US isnt a democracy. It is a constitutional republic.
And the President has the right to pardon who he sees fit, even if it is a family member.

If is fully within Joe Biden's right to pardon his son. The President can issue a pardon to whomever he wants and nobody can do anything about it.
That is a privilege given to the President and he requires the consent of nobody for it. He also does not have to answer for it, especially when on his way out.
