The content creator seeking support could function in the same way. Those in support, staking tokens, offset the sell pressure created by the content creator attempting to make money. Consumer still has their money if creator goes away.
In life, investors are often attracted when they see consumers dumping their money into supporting products. Could be potentially millions of products here and billions of consumers, if one simple concept stopped flying under the radar.
Current stakeholders showering every new face with support thinking "more people" is what's needed don't seem to realize with each new face the existing support must be shared with all other faces. That's called "stagnation."
Those keen on bailing out SPL rather than encouraging supporters to get in with their own HP are contributing to said stagnation. If I vote, all that does is encourage 1000 people to not be in support, yet still have what they want.

I think we are on track, I need to put it out to invite more people so that they can benefit from it. I have learned a lot from others in this food talk threadcast and I'm sure they have too. I have used the bookmark feature to create folders for the recipes to try out and other pieces of information to check out.
That's a great one dear friend. I thought about that too but then we will need some partnership to reward participants for their efforts. We will have no winners since we can't taste the food, lol, but we will judge on other things and they can have a higher upvote according to what pleases the Leo Whales. I feel that people can easily upload a few seconds of their food preparation and the final result on a main thread when Leoshorts is launched and then rethread into the #foodtalk threadcast. I just hope that Leoshorts would be like YouTube shorts in terms of the dimension in order to easily differentiate shorts from long-form videos, do you get it?
I will be having Cookies And Cream Mocha Marble Cake. Some days ago, I thought about baking a different cake for my birthday, I wanted to have the taste of chocolate and coffee in one cake and because I like marble cake (though not my favourite), I decided to make it marble and not plain chocolate and coffee cake.

I celebrate my birthday is a special, though what I consider special, may differ from others views. My special way of celebrating by birthdays is having some two hours quite time, in mediation and after that, I gather people, and cut my cakes.
Though this cake cutting is not what makes it special to me, what I enjoy most when celebrate my birthday is seeing my age groups around me, some time
I like having egba and Local soup. What makes my birthday so special is not the meal but the present of those presents those who makes me feel special.

Some say the future of this chain will depend on the success of dApps like games. Heard that for several years. So you'd think by now there would be a massive pile of HP in the hands of thousands of gamers, ready to support that movement.
there's not much to support really. barely any real games being developed. barely any apps aside from front-ends and block explorers.
this is why i'm super excited about what @simplegame is building with his game studio. there's actual potential to bring in non-web3 people through gaming. Portal Brawlers, Crypto Shots, and Ragnarok give me hope.

That support would be available for the gaming industry here, if those in support of those products decided to be in support of them. Boils down to a simple choice and the power to push that movement is in the hands of anyone who wants it.
If the actual gaming crowd here was able to support SPL, they'd also be able to support several other products, new and old. That would be the easy way to help make the future of gaming here a reality.
Not really there's far too much hive in the hands of a few that is really making the DHF pass or fall up to about 20 accounts that vote. You have accounts with multi millions in hive voting while around 80 million is not being used at all. I'm curious to see what accounts those are sitting in. Plus Splinterlands did have funding and would of had funding but again a few select accounts increased the threshold.
The solution is not encouraging the gaming crowd to be in support of what they want?
Is your line of thinking productive? The bar was 29m HP when that proposal went live. They've yet to reach that. A mass of gamers would push them over.
The issue is the so called "gamers" so far have just been selling off all the hive they acquire.
Also you can't be part of the crowd that says "i have heard for years" when the projects making changes here are less than a year old.

I will be having Cookies And Cream Mocha Marble Cake. Some days ago, I thought about baking a different cake for my birthday, I wanted to have the taste of chocolate and coffee in one cake and because I like marble cake (though not my favourite), I decided to make it marble and not plain chocolate and coffee cake.

there's not much to support really. barely any real games being developed. barely any apps aside from front-ends and block explorers.
this is why i'm super excited about what @simplegame is building with his game studio. there's actual potential to bring in non-web3 people through gaming. Portal Brawlers, Crypto Shots, and Ragnarok give me hope.
All I can really do is listen to what people say, including all the hype. Then compare it to what I see.

out of curiosity I checked the monthly rate on an apartment I rented in 2016. it was $735/month in a nice area close to the city.

It's the same shit here. If I leave this apartment and move in again I pay at least 100€ more. I already pay 650€ for 52qm. I live a bit outside but it would be worse in the city.
