Well, asking for money may not be that stupid at the end of the day - if the game is worth it, I am quite sure you'd get some funds. Perhaps not from the DHF, but there are other ways to do fundraising on Hive.
Also, I would say from all the HIVE I've earned, most have come from Splinterlands upvotes. Maybe 70-80%.

They are not votes, comments or anything like that, but it still counts for various blochcain rankings. Hive is fast, scalable and free - and here's a proof of that.

Currently, to make a profit, it will take a while and you have to make a reasonable investment to see results faster.
Yeah, I think it's better to pick one especially when there are other things to be productive in. A game player can still have one favourite game and can play a couple of others at leisure just for fun.
That's it. I'm not sure games are created in order for players to make a living from it.
Leo's proposal for me is well meaning and straight forward it's even realistic and also have a good turn over rate. Even the amount Leo asked was low compared to what SPL is asking.
If Splinterland project is worth it and have a better project that will help the system and earning ways, then it's worth funding, but the question is, do they ?

I was just outiside for a few minutes. Roy was moving stuff around to pressure wash the patio. Because Dad insists on having almost no empty space at all.
