Some poor people are quite creative wouldn't say they can't. However this statement does have an impactful resonance of richer creativity where more resources certainly do help.
I disagree, you have to be even more creative when you are poor as you can't just throw money at problems (which isn't always working neither, but it usually helps)

I don't remember where I read it but someone did say, no matter how passionate you are about changing the world, you can't save the world when you are poor.
I think the amount of money you have changes the paths of creativity available to you, but doesn't change how creative you are.
My father is VERY creative at getting things for cheap and solving his problems with little to no money, but he can't sing, draw or 'write' to save his life!
As a Czech, I've always known :)) We all have second houses in the countryside, our (grand)parents built them themselves (as there was nothing else to on weekends during the Communism), and we have to maintain those 50-70 years old DYI huts :)
Also, it gives me arguments to not to move to a countryside house as my girlfriend suggests every now and then :)) I know how much extra effort it is compared to a city flat :))
True :) What may look romantic to a city-dweller is just nevereding duties for the house-owner and their family. And I do enjoy some of the works, especially woodcutting and axing. Hate some others, though.

yeah true, but these are cut offs from the round logs to make them square enough to create dimentional lumber with. So the slabs are a waste to them.

tried to watch season 2 episode 1, got 10 minutes in and was board to death. But that might be because it was a show my wife and I watched together.
I'm watching it, I didn't watch it for 3 weeks because I don't like having to watch one episode a week, but now I'm waiting for the next episode which will come out on Sunday.

Well, my mother is a Math teacher and taught me the order of operations pretty early on.
Knowing basic math rules is always great. Especially if your mother could teach you them early on!

The only parts of math I have trouble with are University-level advanced algebra such as Differentiation, and Integration, and that's because it's been years since I needed to use them.
Funnily enough, I'm the best at it in my siblings even though mother taught all of us.
I forgot completely how to solve differentation and integrals, don't use them at work..
I used to be good at math though, but nowadays I don't utilize it that much..
