Not according to Youtube, but it may be a lot harder than it was before...
I don't see it as a dead career as there are still bloggers creating and earning from it. I think where there may be a problem is the particular niche or style of creating blogs and the creativity. There has to be an audience consuming the content and people are drawn toward blogs that keep them hooked not just with the written content but also visuals.
I agree blogging is not 'dead' but it has shrinken much comaring to its golden days.
Well, I actually feel it's more now, maybe because I wasn't aware of it in it's golden days.

Projects tend to derail from their actual goal or promise when they gain some traction e.g Ice Network. However, for some reason expect users enthusiasm or loyal to remain the same.

Apparently, Kai no Kiseki, the next game of the Legend of Heroes Trails series, will mark 90% completion of the series story. That's a bit sad, but this probably means there will be one arc left of the series after that.

That’s a great achievement, we as a community struggle with spreading the word since ever. After letting the dust settle on the prices I noticed that I have made 4X of what I invested into the game. These results may not be too far out of reach for the average player.
