The last time I used 3Speak to upload a video it was kinda stressful. I had some hard time finding my way and I kept having to reupload the video. Also after a while my thumbnail was corrupted. It was tiring

Uploading a video on threespeak has some needed requirements
The video should be of a small size, below 350 mb I think won't upload even after loading.
I'll advise you use a compressor app like video panda to reduce the size.
You can use threespeak site or app or ecency, all are quite easy to use and never takes hours to upload unless site has issues before or when you started to upload.
But it would be a more awesome experience if they make threespeak more faster as you've requested hehe.
It is possible that this may have happened to you on a day when there were problems with the server or it was down. Generally my husband has been able to upload videos by choosing a time of day when the internet is faster. That helps too 🤗

The video should be of a small size, below 350 mb I think won't upload even after loading.
I'll advise you use a compressor app like video panda to reduce the size.
You can use threespeak site or app or ecency, all are quite easy to use and never takes hours to upload unless site has issues before or when you started to upload.
But it would be a more awesome experience if they make threespeak more faster as you've requested.

We are in the same position to learn from the podcast, although I learn more from the comments here in the threadcast because the language is difficult for me. For example I just learned about the #spknetwork.
IPFS is just mind-blowing with loads of usercase that cut across storing files, images and videos, this is also an avenue to save our files in a decentralized space, which is way better than what we've with sensor web2 space.

This is used for storing content but is there a storage capacity? Do you think if there so much stored in it, would it cause lagging?
There is no platform that is much rewarding in publishing your talent or skill on chain, vlogging is a good talent to possess but what we see is that a lot of them are doing it on a wrong channel earning nothing, why not bring it on 3speak?
I see people spend so much efforts on their Tiktok and Instagram videos without earning a dime for it and I wonder how excited they'd be to find a platform that allows users to share and earn crypto with videos. More people need to know about threespeak on Hive.
I would like to know more in detail the benefits that the integration of IPFS to Hive will bring, we talk about the immutable storage, but what other benefit it could bring and how it could participate with the network, a node maybe?
I believe there should be a kind of system in place to vet what is being stored. People will always want to game the network.

The last time I used 3Speak to upload a video it was kinda stressful. I had some hard time finding my way and I kept having to reupload the video. Also after a while my thumbnail was corrupted. It was tiring
okay I tried using #threespeak app, and let's just say till today I wasn't able to upload my video, I still have the app but I can't use it cause it was different to use..
incentives are like energy boosters for people to participate actively in a project, if this is introduced to the blockchain then I can say 2024 is going to be a blast for the web3 in a positive way as many will find their way in.
Without incentives, attracting people to something unknown to them is quite complicated, but having them can make the path easier. That way we can not only attract but also retain and that is what you want.

Uploading videos on 3speak is very rigours. Mostimes, I upload a video for more than 6 hours before it will be successful.
I want to know if the 3speak team can make upload of videos to their server be a little more easier and seamless?

It is possible that this may have happened to you on a day when there were problems with the server or it was down. Generally my husband has been able to upload videos by choosing a time of day when the internet is faster. That helps too 🤗

Not everyone is having a smooth flow with uploading videos on 3speak. Oftentimes, it loads till forever and it's not always network issue.
The IPFS said is very good but this delay in uploading of videos should be worked on
It is true that it sometimes takes a while, but my general experience (little) is that I have not had to wait that long. What if the connection here doesn't help, I have to upload videos after midnight.
I’ve had my own challenges with 3speak from time to time and then I do believe that at times the problems are not really caused by network issues. This new IPFS system will help tackle this problem and it will be smooth.

Thanks for the tips. I did try using Ecency and it takes shorter time to upload. Haven't tried uploading larger sized vids though but it's good that it's easy.

I remember using 3speak app a long time ago I think it's over a year now but it stopped working for some reasons and i now make use of the web version to upload my videos which is very much convenient to me.
It'll be amazing t fix the app.
It will be great to see the progress of the 3speak dApp by including earnings as a tester, this will motivate much more, perhaps it is time to give the dApp more customization
As a creator of microvlogs, I am excited by the idea that they include a service for saving in the cloud, and also being able to earn from it.

On Hive we need to focus upon information that holds it value and doesnt diminish over time
1/ We have a database that goes back over 6 years. However, this is a problem since most of what was placed in there diminishes in value over time.
2/ Few take the time to think about the "stickiness" of information that is posted. Sadly, much of what is out there diminishes rather quickly. This means that the value of the database doesnt grow quickly.
3/ This is due to info being either time sensitive or lose its relevance. When this happens, the value does not grow very quickly.
4/ With Hive, it is crucial that we focus upon those things that will add exponential value to what we already created. This means adding data that does not diminish in value.
5/ Then we tie it to other data along with more features (apps) to enhance it.

I read a post from @lordbutterfly noting the importance of VSC in the context of bitshares grinding down. I do not understand what's the connection.
Bitshare was delisted from a major CEX. Without CEX listings it is hard to get liquidity for your coin. VSC smart contracts and wrapping gives us Liquidity.
That is the basics of it.
I lost many coins on BTS. I did not know how things work :)

Yes!!! I fully agree I love every sunrise and sunset and have loads of pictures from these moments. There's something magical about sunrise and sunset, especially now that we have ocean view while watching them. I always feel like a day is wasted when I sleep in, lol. Sometimes I need it though..
Tomorrow I will probably see the sunrise from the car when we head to some flea markets (1,5 hour drive).. I hope I can catch a good picture while seeing it.
