I can't read my own thread, I can't vote any pool. The only way I can check my thread is from peakd > activities > then click the comment. there are plenty to be fix first before the real adoption can start

Here's a interesting idea.. selling tokens to fund a sports betting club.. example I just opened a Cesears account.. I could sell half or whatever percentage and we bet together.
It would have to be a payout situation like I have on HiveHustlers or something where you would have a winning pool that would be distributed to the token holders. Could be done though. That’s if you keep it on Hive
Yeah in this instance Dave would be the trusted entity since dealing with relatively small amounts (he has a trusted rep on Hive). But something to consider in the future once the Spk smart contracts are live.
Not that I don’t think Dave isn’t a good dude, but yeah it would have to be small circles. Just saying if you wanted something like that to scale then it would have to be done in a trustless way.

There just isn’t a good trustless way to do it on Hive due to the lack of smart contract functionality, whereas a DAO on Polygon can act as a multisig so it would act as security for the funds and would all be released by a vote.
Everything on HE is sold against SWAP.HIVE unless you start a diesel pool for it, but that’s not what you want for this purpose. You can’t use SWAP.HBD in the Token Find contract because you didn’t issue it.
that’s why I have had to do all of that kind of stuff in chains like Polygon or BSC. HE is limited in its abilities and is expensive to use with the BEE costs.

Every person who gets driven away from Hive will tell many others not to bother. We do need to deal with abuse, but petty disagreements can fracture the community.
Every platform is going to have some sort of abuse. Take it from someone who has ran multiple communities, it’s pointless to try and fight it. But with that logic, why are people still using MS social media? That crap is ultra toxic.
Every platform has its pros and cons. Many people are perfectly happy on FB and Twtr as that is where their friends are. Hive is so small that small fights can have big effects.
I think the confrontational ones are a minority, but they can have a big impact. Most people just want to get along. The big Hive accounts need to listen to Spider Man's uncle on the topic of power/responsibility.

there isn’t a TOS, it’s just community consensus. A truly decentralized community shouldn’t have a ToS, TOS is censorship.

Stackers who are in the right assets can clean up. Fill the bags when traders are bored and then when they drive prices higher, clean up.
It's a "brilliant" time if you utilize it correctly. We will look back on this time and it will be seen as an incredible window period.

Every person who gets driven away from Hive will tell many others not to bother. We do need to deal with abuse, but petty disagreements can fracture the community.
Every platform is going to have some sort of abuse. Take it from someone who has ran multiple communities, it’s pointless to try and fight it. But with that logic, why are people still using MS social media? That crap is ultra toxic.
Every platform has its pros and cons. Many people are perfectly happy on FB and Twtr as that is where their friends are. Hive is so small that small fights can have big effects.

I just try to be as productive as possible here and don’t really engage in the pissing matches on Hive.
