I feel like if i should employ the wisdom that comes from the AMA into my everyday life, i would be making little mistakes. Like can you just see how one thinks deep on something i see less meaning to it and brings a whole new wisdom.
There are people I would like to follow and I have done the #HiveChat there. I fear communities will get fragmented, but I am sticking with decentralised platforms.
I haven't used mainstream media for years but I miss the size and variety of communities there. Much easier to get something going there with like-minded individuals but I couldn't stand all the crap you had to wade through too.
We each have to decide what works for us. Network effects are very powerful. I still use FB as I need to stay in touch with certain people and I'll keep my Twtr account for now.
