I still have a soft spot for Engineering but I reckon I'll be putting it all behind me real soon.

I'm thinking of getting professional qualifications in marketing, sales and management. I already have multiple years of marketing experience, I might as well just formalize it
The world needs more engineers. That has a future. Marketing might end up with the machines.
Well, that's true but the machines are a threat but there will always be clients that want something with a soul and that's where I'll step in.
Just get your foot in the door and start working as a bottom of the rung salesman.
Phone sales, door to door, some sort of entry level position like that.
You make a fine point but what I would say is that the script is different when you're an immigrant trying to get in because you can't even find the "door" to begin with.
If you're a good salesman, you'd be able to use your engineering degree as leverage to get that foot in the door 😉.

How does what work? The counter or ad revenue?
I guess I'm more confused about the buyback part..
I am trying to push them to develop ways to take a portion of the ad revenue and feed it to those who are active on threads. That is not part of the plan yet but am working on it.
Ad revenue generated is fed into a smart contract that ends up buying $LEO. As of now, that will be fed to the holders of Leo Power.

There are ads on threads, not sure when they will be on long form. When people click on ads, it generates revenue for the platform, just like all social media sites.

Because it is. But it takes a great deal of understanding and insight like with Hive.
All I'm saying is that there doesn't seem to be too many variables to consider, if, for example, you're a batter and have extremely sharp reflexes and strong arms.
A lot more to hitting than just arms and reflexes. There are many types of pitches through. Not just a straight fastball. There are sliders, curves, and change of speed.
