#marchinleo Consumerism is a joy ride to hell for the rich, fancy packaging more waste! Average person is planting their own food to make ends meet, not a hobby a necessity.....
I agree with you, the consumerism is wasteful. There are many people who do not have the essentials to live.
Too many with nothing at all.
It's a sad reality
It is when you see it all the time.
Where I live we don't see this phenomenon of consumerism so much, but it is true that when it is in excess it is harmful, and also to the environment.
Good if your local shops are not placing everything on polystyrene then double wrapping with cling wrap, all a total waste. Growing up meat would be in wax wrap paper, brown paper outer to pack together.
Regarding extravagant celebration when BTC hits 100k, 150k, 200k, the bill of such celebration will be paid by BTC.
