Hello LBIer's, bad news. My PC has not been working properly from last night. It's showing "Repairing disk errors. This might take over an hour to complete". From a quick google search, i need to let it run its course, some people said it took over 24 hours there's to work.
Long story short, no idea how long this is going to take to fix and i read from some that even when they did get logged in, some things loaded up wrong. If mothing happens byu tomarrow i'll explore the idea of just wiping the bugger and installing a fresh copy of windows. Im currently on my sons laptop, he's 15 so i had to clean it before using it. Im scared to check the browsing history but i see the recycling bin is empty so he's deleted something in the 20 minutes it took for him to give it to me, ba-hahaa.
Im very limited to what i am able to do. I can pretty much log in and interact with HIVE accounts as i keep all the private keys on an portable SSD, im not setting up metamask on this laptop so no access to defi stuff and of course all my excel tracking sheets are on my PC. I have a SATA to USB so i could get my harddrive out of my PC and use the files on this laptop but cant do that when the PC is on and im dont feel like restarting the whole process again as im already a few hours in. Plus small things like, i have the paid version of mircosoft office and i dont feel i can go back to being a pleb again, shit half the tracking stuff i use might not even work in the free version. Even using this laptop is annoying with it's small 17" single screen and tiny keyboard. How people create posts from phones is amazing to me. My normal setup is 2 22" screens, big desk, lots of gadgets and a gaming chair, i cant even watch youtube while writing this post, its so sad. Sorry to sound spoiled but i only spend money on 2 things for myself, 1 is my set up, i like gadgets and upgrading stuff and the other is the dog. I have become accustomed to the finer thing when it comes to the set up baa-haha. It took my a few years to built it up as while, i am just a pleb like you.
To the point of the post, this week, well today i was supposed to give out the results for last weeks vote of if we should postpone weekly dividends are not. I dont have access to my excel sheets as i dont save them online so i cant tally up results against the richlist i put into it last week when voting started. I think the result was a yes in support of holding off on issuing dividends for a while but i will still release the full results when i get access to my PC again.
Going forward, we will need to do another vote to decide on how long we should leave it until we do 1 of 2 things,
1/ Pick a time scale and restart when that time has expired.
2/ Same as above but instead of restarting dividends, vote for another time extension
After i release the proper voting results, the rest of the upcoming votes will be taken care of by the LBI GOV team. I really think we cant set a time and need to react with the market but we'll vote on it and hope the majority get it right. Sorry the worse than normal spelling and grammar mistakes, Grammarly normally has he sorted but today, im roughing it. Sorry i cant release a full voting result post today, i do it when i can. The votes are very land slide so we can move ahead and make this weeks dividends the last for a while and as said before, we'll make it a double dividend for 100% of this weeks earnings.
Thats the update, mostly me waffling on like a child and why im not able to upload the results. I hope your day is better than mine. When im finished this post, im gonna reply back to comments on a post i did yesterday for another token and then im gonna set this fooking thing down, i cant browse on this thing. Sheet, i might even just go and clean the house, do some hovering, live on the other side for a few hours, lol. Nah, prob just to bed early and watch Rick and Morty. Life is not that bad i guess 😆

These thing happen, its hard using some other set-up when my main computer crashes. I cant see doing all of this on a phone either, but the young ones can. lol

Thank you, 24 hours later and i still have the same screen. I tihnking now do i install a fresh copy of wnidows and then get mad when it does not work or should i just order a new one now, hahah.

Just FYI - I love reading your updates, even when you are just waffling about.
I get amazed at how people write posts on their phone too, I guess its the whole "where there's a will there's a way" thing.
I like getting dividends just cause I like getting income but I totally get why people would want to HODL off.
PS. Can we bring back paying SPI dividends with SPI? I was building a nice stack and haven't seem to have the discipline to just take my dividends and buy more SPI.

I like getting div's as well but let's build hard for 1 bear market and reap the benefits forever after. SPI did it last bear market and there's no plans to cut divs for it, if anything, SPI is giving away more now with it Royalty Rewards. I'd love to swap the dividends for SPI back to SPI but i think most prefer HIVE.
If we can hold off for 12-18 months with LBI, we'd be set 😀
