So let's continue with the post where we paused earlier without any delay

So, we were talking about requirements for mining Cryptocurrencies. I have already discussed about operating system and processors in previous post. So the next one in the requirements is Graphics card
criterias for determining performance

1. Bus type: PCI, AGP and PCI express. Latter is highest performing
   2 Memory: more the memory, higher the performance
2. SM count: more the number of streaming multiprocessors, higher the performance
3. Core Clock : higher the core speed better the performance
4. Memory clock: higher DDR number, better the performance, GDDR works at half performance than DDR
5. Cores : more cores, more performance
6. Fill rate : better the filling capacity, better the performance
7. Api support : should support all api like direct 3d, opengl, opencl and vulcan

There are several brands of graphics card available in market, but I'll discuss only about the major one's and which are indeed will work your way and are launched within 8 years. This part is the core of mining, so always buy the best ones as this will vastly impact your mining outcomes.
The major companies involved in graphics card manufacturing are Nvidia, Intel, Amd, Asus, 3dfx, gigabyte

1. Nvidia
   

A. Nvidia GeForce GTX 700 series
Models are Nvidia geforce gtx 705,710,720,730, 740,745,750, 760,770,780, Titan . Varies with model and memory, starting at $300
B. Nvidia geforce gtx 900 series
Models are Nvidia GeForce gtx 945,950,960,970, 980, Titan
Varies with price and memory, starting at $360
C. Nvidia geforce gtx 10 series
Models are nvidia geforce gtx 1010,1030, 1050,1060, 1070,1080, Titan x and xp. Varies with model and memory, starting at $400
D. Nvidia Titan Volta series : very costly at price around $2000
E. Nvidia geforce gtx 16 series
Models are nvidia geforce gtx 1650,1660 with super and ti version
Prices starting from $200
F. Nvidia geforce rtx 20 series
Models are nvidia geforce rtx 2060,2070,2080, Titan. Price starting at $350
G. Nvidia geforce rtx 30 series
Models are nvidia geforce rtx 3050,3060,3070,3080,3090. Price starting from $330
Among all, the best I recommend for mining is Nvidia geforce rtx 3060ti at price of $400. Good in price and performance

1. AMD
   

A. Radeon RX 400 series
Models are Radeon r5 430,435, r7 430, 435,450, 455,460,470, 480
Price starting from $150
B. Radeon RX 500 series
Models are Radeon RX 520,530,540,550,560,570, 580,590
Price starting from $100
C. Radeon RX Vega series
Models are Radeon RX Vega 56,64. 64 liquid
D. Radeon VII estimated price $700
E. Radeon RX 5000 series
Models are Radeon RX 5300,5500,5600, 5700 with xt edition of each. Price starting from $200
G. Radeon RX 6000 series
Models are Radeon RX 6400,6500,6600,6700,6800, 6900 with xt edition of each. Price starting from $350
My recommendation in AMD is Radeon RX 6700 xt whose price is $450. Slightly higher than nvidia but definitely a good alternative

1. Intel
   

A. Gen 9 series
Models are HD graphics 500,505,510,515,520,530, iris graphics540,555,555 pro, 580, 580 pro, UHD graphics 600,605, 610,615, 620,630, p630, iris plus graphics 640,645,650,655
Starting price $400
B. Gen 11 series
Models are UHD graphics for core i3, i5 and iris plus graphics for core i5, i7. Price starting from $440
C. Gen 11 series
Models are UHD graphics 730, 750, 760, iris xe graphics and xe max, xe pod, and sg 18m
Price starts from $750
Intel graphics card are usually integrated and not optimal for mining purposes. But if your needs depends on it, you can buy the integrated pc and getting the gen 11 is recommended.

1. Gigabyte
   

Gigabyte AORUS geforce rtx 2080 ti is the recommended one. Price is very costly and ranges about $2000.

Overall when you are looking for graphics card especially for cryptocurrency mining, Best options are nvidia and amd. Cost effective and high production.
