Hello everyone, I'm new to Hive blog. I was using steemit like 2 years ago but due to some work schedule and other commitments in life I wasn't able to post since 2 years. If you people want to know more about me then here is my introductory post 2 years ago.

Now, I want to know that How to get started on Hive.blog or how to get success on Hive Blog?

What's New

Today or yesterday maybe, After a period of 2 years, when I came back to steemit I saw that the whole platform is changed and there mostly are Koreans now. I didn't know that what happened to steemit. Then I read a thread on reddit What happened to Steemit?

I got some answers of my questions from this post. But still there are some confusions, as I'm new to Hive.blog and don't know if it will work same as steemit or not.

Things have been changed a lot in this 2 years of time

So, I seriously need to know that how hive.blog is working and how ne can get success?

Suggestions from seniors and active members will be highly appreciated.

Or you can suggest me some posts which I can read as a new user to hive blog.

Yet, I don't know the hive community is more active or not as People were really active and supportive on Steemit.

So, Let's see, How much help can I get from my hive community fellows.

Here are some basic questions in my mind

  1. How to get started on Hive.blog?
  2. How to get success on Hive.Blog
  3. Is there any difference in Steemit & Hive.blog?
  4. What are other sites for hive.blog like there were some sites for steemit (Steemstats, steembottracker etc.)
  5. How to join a community and post in a community?
  6. Is there any difference in posting community or posting with tags? What's that?
  7. I use to follow some active members ion steemit, Now I have seen that they joined Hive.blog but they are not active here. Why?
  8. People seems less active here on Hive.blog as compared to they were 2 years ago. Can we say that Hive.Blog is little boring? I don't know.

Need some serious answers to my questions so that I can do blogging happily and in a mannered way, As I love writing on different topics.

I will be really thankful to you people in this regards.

Sort:
  1. Find communities you like and join them.
  2. I am not the best at this but try to really join a community. Post in it often and talk to others that in there.
  3. Hive has changed a few things but it works a lot the same. I would look for a video that goes over Hive.
  4. Peakd.com and https://www.palnet.io/ and https://leofinance.io/ but if you check those communities you can find more.
  5. I used https://peakd.com/ to be able to do posts on different communities.
  6. There is for a few if you post from their page the tags work if not the tags don't but some tags add it to them have to check on each.
  7. Maybe they on steem still or maybe they quit.
  8. I like hive but it hard to tell. We are still a bit low in hive money so not sure. but I think they doing okay.

Thanks for answering & helping.

I tried to understand you but still my confusions are there. Still many questions are unanswered. I'm Just trying to explore the communities. For now, I'm here in Leofinance, Still don't know about Peakd.com or Palnet.io etc.

Will look on to them later but let's see if someone can come and help me to understand each and everything.

Thanks again for helping.

Hi there! Welcome to Hive.

Hive is a very active platform. It just depends on where you look because now, there are different communities that create niche content. Most publish as part of communities now, so that could explain why you can’t find your old friends.

This is also what the community tags are for. If you use a community tag you are publishing your content into that community’s main page. Your post, for example, showed up in leofinance.io even though you are using hive.blog.

I left for a while too and came back with a lot of things different. You might have to look around a bit to get acquainted again. Good luck.

Thanks for information buddy.

But, what other tags should I use if I'm posting using LeoFinance? The tags should be related to my post or those will still be related to LEOFinance? or LEOFinanace will generate tags automaticly for my posts? what? Please!

You should always use tags related to your post. And if you’re posting in Leofinance, the post should be finance related.
