when i saw the Pixel 9 Pro Fold get announced at $1800, i was immediately like... no. not going to upgrade. i have the original Pixel Fold, and it's fine.
then i saw the deal they have on Google store for Google One members. essentially - if i trade in my Pixel Fold, i'll get the phone for $1040. with that purchase, i'll get 10% cash back along with a $350 credit totaling around $550. that's basically getting the phone for about $600 when you count the credits & trade-in.
i'd basically spend the $550 in credit on stuff to resell from Google... hmm.
