Unfortunately you are absolutely right, discouragement makes many things difficult. But effort is always rewarded.

Ignore your emotions. Build a system for yourself that leads to success. That is how it is achieved. If we only act when we "feel like it" we will skip most things. The successful show up and take action regardless of who things are.
