When your gadget get damaged, do you quickly replace it with new one or try to repair it?

My damaged airpod put me in such situation. Read on👇

Instead of taking it to repair, I decided to repair it myself. I first of all used glue to gum the affected part but no way.

It requires led and soldering iron and I don't have them at my disposal 😢

I should throw it away, right??

I fix it myself first if I can. If I can't, I take it to a shop for repair. If it can't be repaired, or if the repair cost is not worth it, then I buy a replacement.

Are they actual Airpods or knockoffs? If knockoffs, try to fix or get a new pair. If they are Apple Airpods, well, if you have Applecare, they have you, if not, you are screwed...
