This is another potential revenue stream as well add a button to “get Arbitrum gas” And charge a small fee for the service
This is relevant for the hive users who will want to swap with Hive on LeoDex but not want to deal with getting their own gas. We’ll provide a gas service with a small fee
I like that. I added arbitrum on my metamask wallet but realized I need ETH to transact. Someone please tell me if I can use metamask for all my maya adventures.
You can't use Metamask for everything (only EVM-enabled chains)
So if you want to swap HIVE for L1 BTC for example, you'll need a BTC Wallet / Keystore for that
But if you want to trade HIVE for USDT (ETH) or something like that, you could definitely just use Keychain + Metamask

Gas fees are only a few pennies but the problem is: the average Hiver is pretty crypto ignorant outside of Hive (just the facts)
I have this feeling that many people on Hive are going to say they can't figure out how to get ETH on-chain for Arbitrum gas fees to do (for example) BTC -> HIVE swaps
You need Arbi ETH Gas because you're swapping through the LEO pool to make that happen
So we're going to build a decentralized gas solution called a faucet. It will be a button that you can click (totally optional) if you don't have a way to get ETH Gas on Arbitrum.
This way, you'll pay a fee to LeoDex in the form of LEO and then we'll convert it to ETH Gas in your Arbitrum Wallet automagically.
One-click and you've got gas money. But be prepared to pay a premium. I have a feeling we'll charge between 10% and 25% this. For example send $1 worth of LEO (10 LEO right now) and get $0.85 worth of ETH on Arbitrum in your Arbi wallet
That's cool. It would be awesome to be able to send HIVE/HBD/LEO through MetaMask, using any blockchain MM interacts with.
You'll be able to swap native HIVE/HBD seamlessly using Hive Keychain and LeoDex
No need to send it on any EVM (MM blockchain)
This is the path forward for trading HIVE/HBD. I have a feeling the LeoDex-enabled rails for HIVE/HBD trading will become the most important trading pair for Hive
