Hey, everyone! On LeoDex V1, users needed to acquire Arbitrum ETH for the gas fee to perform swaps. Now, with LeoDex V2, users no longer need to get Arbitrum-ETH for gas fees; it's now covered by the smart contract, which has its own supply. This means users only need the input coin and will receive the selected output.
In this clip:
- LeoDex no longer requires Arb-Eth for gas
- The smart contract now possesses its own Arb-Eth
- Users won't need to worry about gas for any transaction
With LeoDex V1, we built a faucet where people were able to get Arbitrum-ETH for the gas fees with LEO, but it still required the user to have LEO in their wallet and go through more steps to complete a swap. With V2, we eliminated the need for the user to have Arbitrum-ETH for gas fees.
A smart contract that allows us to cut 8 steps into one click has its own Arbitrum-ETH to cover the gas fees. This works for transactions performed directly on LeoDex, or for the cash outs and purchases users can make on Inleo via Leo Merchants.
From the user's perspective, the transactions are smoother, and gas is virtually not needed, since it's covered by us, similar to the way credit card processing fees work.

Wrll it keeps getting better...
I revisted Leodex.io today to tray to trade Cacao for Leo, but no success. It just gets to pending and no further. I connected to Thorswap and Cacaoswap and it did the same thing, connected wallet, showed my balances, then the trade was enetered, it went to poending and stoped, never advanced.
I assume this is something wrong with Cacaoswap since all three exchanges go through Cacaoswap for the Cacao-Leo trading pair.

This is most likely not a leodex problem, but timing was bad because your short surely motivated people to visit leodex today and unfortunately the swap didn't work. The Hive swaps didn't work either, but I guess it's because they all go through Leo.
