Posting articles on other platforms is not a bad idea.

Of course, what we need to be careful of is the SEO. Certain sites get credit over others. I would imagine that Publish0x will rank higher than Proofofbrain.

But maybe others who are SEO experts like @acesontop can answer that.

Nevertheless, the idea of cross posting is always helpful. Get some eyes from outside.

Maybe send it out on Noisecash. They are tired of hearing about Leofinance so maybe hit with POB. LOL

From my own experience: I actually got involved with splinterlands --> Hive --> leofinance after reading some articles on publish0x. So for me it was definitely the gateway between the "normies web" and here.

Even if the articles will be picked up on other websites quicker by the search engines it could potentially bring more people in as long as there's some mention and/or links to hive and leofinance.

That's what I think at least.

Glad you found your way here from that site. It is good for people to branch out and try to get Hive and Leo in front of people.

How are you finding the ecosystem? Any challenges?

O many! But then it's also part of the fun and finding opportunities, discovering new things. It's easy to lose track of things and kind of feel lost or overwhelmed but each day it gets a bit easier I think. You learn new stuff, feel overwhelmed, let the information consolidate and the next day you're better prepped to use the new info and learn new stuff.

For example, the other day I completely ran out of RC after a good day of commenting to the point it returned an error. Still need to learn more about that and managing voting mana too. The amount of tokens and how they all differ in usage and functions is also amazing, just when you think you've seen 'em all you find another one (or earn some even for unkown reasons sometimes :-p). But like I said, it's a fun thing to discover and learn everyday.

I just delegated 50 HP to you so you dont run out of resource credits.

Also, I suggest you post, especially in here, from the Leofinance.io interface. That way, the upvotes you get on your posts and comments, you wont lose 20% due to posting from another front end.

It also counts towards the weekly comment numbers on Leofinance.io.

Wow, much appreciated! I did however get a good tip to get some delegated through giftgiver thanks to @jfang003. That combined with the knowledge I shouldn't delegate too much HP and hurt my own RC helped a lot already. So don't hesitate if you need the HP for something else. However I do thank you for it and will try my best to put it to good use.

Have to remember to use the front ends that I want to use, the UI of Peakd does appeal to me especially the notifications and search function. Kind of miss those on Leofinance.. also end up on peakd through links at times and then find myself engaging through there. But I'm using the replies section on finance now to at least get a good part in here :-)

I went from brave -> splinterlands -> hive so I kind of agree with you there. Just spreading out the news to other people might get them interested in joining.

Posted Using LeoFinance Beta

Yeah, as long as they find it somehow somewhere they can become interested. For me brave was actually through splinterlands after playing in their tournament :-)

The important think is that you got here and are getting active.

That is what we need.

We will do our best to help enrich you along the way.

That's good to know. I don't have an account there but I might give it a look then. It could help the community here

Posted Using LeoFinance Beta

It could help out a bit. If one has a good following or can establish one, then we can see how it can turn out.

It's true. I cross post on Publish0x almost all of my Leofinance posts, but no SEO expert. I'd call @hitmeasap as such.

Yea I have been cross posting over there as well recently. I think I have gotten anywhere been $0.02 to about $0.5 so far for each post. I don't want to buy any ETH but I guess I am getting small amounts of it over there just by tipping or by posting.

I don't want to buy any ETH

Welcome to the world of $77 transaction fees. LOL

Posted Using LeoFinance Beta

Yea I wonder how long it will take to get enough ETH so I won't be killed by the fees.

Cross-posting is helpful in terms of exposure and for "bursts of traffic" due to the extra eyeballs it attracts. It is also good in terms of rankings which will help with organic traffic over time. However, I think it's less good in terms of exposure & "bursts of traffic" nowadays as a lot of people are cross-posting on publish0x. Most users there have probably heard of LeoFinance previously.. But I still think its a good idea in the long haul.

Please excuse my ignorance, but what the hell is SEO?

Posted Using LeoFinance Beta

It will be added to my ever growing "to do" list.

Thanks.

Posted Using LeoFinance Beta

That's cool. Just let me know if you need any help or clarifications. :)

Search engine optimization. Basically what google prefers to show.

Posted Using LeoFinance Beta

Ok, thanks.

I think they are ranked higher. Mainly because if I look up Engagement is rewarded on LeoFinance, my publish0x article is ranked 1st and LeoFinance is nowhere to be seen. I do have links back to LEO and PeakD so it might help it in the future.
