I have always thought, work from home options, or hybrid working options are brilliant, for those that are go getters, for some, it would appear it can make them less reliable, but i can speak from my own experiences, it increased performance, when i was office bound the idea of doing several ideas unpaid overtime would be absurd, work from home, well, i am at home, put on some music, made an experience of it - depends on the role though, some don't lend themselves to wfh, and i agree it is good to meet face to face and mingle from time to time.
