Elon Musk says making Tesla's robot Optimus is hard because they need to design it to be easy to build and make many of them. Hopefully as AI improves, it'll help make developing stuff like this easier

That was a big deal. He says building it for manufacturing scale is the hardest part. I read that to mean building for utility capabilities is easier.
I believe that's what it means, perhaps utility is much easier. It's a new tech so they're entering new terrain no wonder there are such challenges and the investor pressures to see something good ain't an easy thing too
