For the longest time since I began this journey in 2017, I've focused my attention on my main account. Recently after expanding engagement on @leomarkettalk, I ran into the issue of running down my VP, which hindered my efforts at curation.
That's when someone mentioned the alt accounts they had in order to interact with more tribes. Inspired by them, I started up this new account in order to expand the scope of my engagement with the community. Seeding it with some HIVE, I'm now able to do my part to help grow this platform, without having to worry about RC or running my power down so much.
Setting up shop
Now, I can do so much more and realize the utility in what they were doing. Every comment, upvote and reblog, helps make this a more attractive place for new people and those that don't have very many eyeballs on their posts. I love spending the "night shift" checking out those lonely posts where someone has put the effort in, and now have someone that will actually have their content seen.
In a few short months, I will celebrate four years on the blockchain. This is a move I wished I'd made sooner, but you know what they say! better late than never! So, if you're keeping one eye on your digital resources, consider hanging up a new shingle and expanding your presence on Hive.
