Roll with the punches!
That's something I have learned throughout this crazy life of mine that every time you think you have it figured out...Things change! It's literally the only constant in life...Change! And how we either embrace it or fight it, kind of sets up our success going forward.
And hey, change is hard. It's not an easy thing to do, and I think that's why so many people avoid change like the plague. But alas....
So my 'change' last week was to just enjoy the ride!
Instead of setting things up every month and then changing it up, just embrace how things are going. Hey look, I have goals and I think goal setting is very important....But I feel like a goldfish with 3 second attention span in the #web3 space. There is always something new and exciting to jump into....Or so we think.
So I decided to really just go back to my 2 core tokens....And let things develop how they will.
I want to rebuild both my $HIVE and my $LEO
Over the past few months, I've been all over the place. Jumping into one project because there was FOMO. And then jumping into something new because I'd get some FUD lol Absolutely zero focus, and that's how I always get myself into trouble.
So going forward, here's the plan....
Build back up to 10,000 $HIVE Power
Build back up to 100,000 $LEO Power
Right now, both these tokens are pretty low. So I don't think it's smart to sell any of them. That means, it's back to accumulation mode for this guy. Especially Hive. It's gone way down! So I think now is the perfect time to jump back in and power things up.
Once strategy I'll be doing a lot (or at least every time I remember) is to set my pay outs to 100% Hive Power. This is always a good idea when the price of Hive is low because you should be able to accumulate more Hive through rewards.
As for $LEO, that's a tougher one to accumulate because there's no more inflation in the token. I might end up flipping my SURGE payouts for liquid LEO and then powering it up. But right now, I'm not married to that idea. We will see how it goes!
Overall, I just want to enjoy this stuff again. Create, curate and get more active where I can. The biggest benefit for me in this entire blockchain community was the people. And that will always be my focus on chain.

Uuuh, this is a massive goal to brush over. I know you will in no distance time get to that and even crush over it....go brother !!.
It's very nice to set goals and as well achieve the goals.

It happens pretty quickly if you let it snow ball. I remember when I first started here, I couldn't get to 1000 HP for like half a year. Even longer...But the more you show up, create and curate, things start to really get rolling.
Yeah, I am still stacking, but the core stack has changed drastically, but back to where I started my crypto journey, and that's proof of work, private proof of work to be more precise, lol. Hive has taken a beating in not just price, but in sentiment as well. It certainly didn't grow to what you and I wanted it to become as we both dedicated our lives to building here only to basically get shunned, that is for sure.
Agreed completely. I think the entire chain needs a good overhaul with new thought leaders here but alas...That won't happen lol
And yeah man, I know you busted your butt for sure. Shame that entrepreneurs get run off chain so frequent. I'm just going back to the blogging. Not trying to build businesses anymore, just a place to spread my propaganda LOL

Goals are goals, and I agree that the prices are quite low. It's tough to stash up LEO without that inflation, and I am hoping Hive price rebounds a bit.
My plan is similar, Never power down, swap delegated reward Hive to Leo. And swapHbd for powerup or other investments.
