Does this apply to Keyboard Miners as well?

New proposal attempts to exempt bitcoin miners from taxes

There is a proposal in Kentucky to exempt bitcoin miners from having to pay taxes on their mining income.

Wouldn't it be great if this applied to keyboard mining on more than just bitcoin?

On our favorite altcoin perhaps?

Here's the news:

While this doesn't sound like exactly the same thing but it would be wonderful if this somehow gets passed and then applied to other forms of mining and other cryptos.

What we are doing here is basically keyboard mining.

We aren't paid for our services, we are basically keyboard mining a currency that is being distributed by stakeholders.

At some point the tax laws need to be changed to make this whole model remotely sustainable.

Hopefully this a step in that direction.

there is a lot of initial and ongoing capital investment in bitcoin mining. It's not quite the same thing.

Yea, it is clearly related to energy consumption and them having cheap energy, but one can hope!
