Sometimes the easiest path to prosperity is right in front of you

The Michael Saylors of the world are putting their money where their conviction is.

He's the CEO of MicroStrategy by the way in case you have been out of the loop.

A smallish tech company that is quickly becoming a medium sized tech company thanks to the share price appreciation that has been happening ever since they invested in bitcoin.

Their stock has gone up almost 3x since first buying bitcoin.

He saw what he believes to be the future monetary system and he put his money where his beliefs are.

It's funny because there are a number of countries that could do something similar, especially countries that are struggling with currency problems.

They could take a couple billion dollars, invest it in bitcoin, and in roughly 5 years they may no longer be a struggling country financially.

If you can't grow with natural resources, you must invest.

Other companies could so this as well, basically the MSTR laid out the blueprint that many others can now follow.

It's pretty clear at this point Bitcoin's not going away.

Even though it's a cool idea, I don't think any country would dare to risk their citizens money in something they probably don't understand. For them it probably feels like going to the casino and placing it all on red and hope for the best.

It will only feel that way if they haven't done their homework. On that note, there are several countries out there who's currency is losing massive value every year. Think Venezuela, Argentina, etc.

Imagine a country that would do that, they could help a lot to their economic development with bitcoin in a few years so helping their own citizens. But nop, they keep spending and spending (growing their international debt) making people even more poor... little countries NEED to increase the financial education in schools and highschools to change the general mindset for the next generations

We just need one to take the leap, then the rest will follow.

Seems like a great move on their part.
