It's nice to see it gaining some support, the people seem to be more active when the price goes up. I never understood that, you earn more Hive with a lower price.

10000% agree , I always think to myself the same thing . You can earn 2x more Hive if the price is at 25 cents for the same post than when the Hive is at 50 cents . I don't understand people , maybe it's all psychological .

I think there is more HIVE in the reward pool if the price of HIVE is higher, but there was a lack of activity on HIVE because of the lower prices. Thus less people using the reward pool and a bit more HIVE passed out to those who were using it. This was my understanding given the entire HBD debacle with both sides arguing about the reward pool.

Yes well the reason you earn more is because less people in the reward pool. If they stuck it out, the payouts would be diminished.

Seems with a jump like that it is a serious pump. I think we will likely see a fall back into the range it was.
Nevertheless, it does get some attention and provide a bit more faith to people.

It didnt keep.
That means the pump was pulled and now the dump.
Didnt seem like an organic run up. Hopefully it holds the range it was in.

They help to move the transaction volume higher which helps to get Hive some attention. Any attention is a good thing.
While it might ebb, it at least puts us on the map for next time that we appear.
So it all helps in the long run.

I am actually powering down all my STEEM to move here , I wish I did it earlier but I didn't give much focus to STEEM .

I don't know but the market is super volatile. HBD price is still pretty high so I expect the price to keep moving up and down a lot. Those traders are running high on speculations so I don't know who decided to pump the price

Had to be someone big to move it that much.
My guess is those who look at where the orders come from, it was probably out of Korea.
They seem to do that a lot and have the capital to move things on this scale.

Yea I see that narrative shown a lot but I haven't really dived into the transaction. They do seem to be the most likely culprits though.
