It is reasonable to set up an auto-vote for a writer who continues to deliver quality, it's a way to ensure he gets rewarded every time (since he is trusted to produce quality), but I don't see any sense in setting up an auto-vote for comments or even voting your own comments.

For sure not for voting my own comments. I never do that, and am pretty sure that this auto-vote trail won't give my own vote to my own comments. i will check.
Also, i will be checking to see if @elcomentador will only be voting on "quality" comments with vote weight adjusted dependant upon the quality of the comment. This is subjective of course, we will see how it goes.

Would you consider it inappropriate for me to rate some of your comments with our trail from time to time? While our trail is not intended only for those who delegate to us or follow our route, if any of them make a comment of value or quality, we can encourage them with our trail.
What do you think about it, would you agree? We want to know your opinion, it is very important.
PS: I don't see your vote reflected in the votes we have given, did you activate the option to vote comments in Hive.vote, maybe you have your vote paused?
No i think it is appropriate and would like to see this.
I fixed hive.vite issue. Voting threshold was set ti 100% so paused. Amended to 80%.

And about the vote to your comments, very well, I will take that remark into account. It seems fair to me, although perhaps at some point we can make an exception. ;-)

No self-votes, no bot voting. All our votes are manual. We go through each comment reading and valuing according to what we consider can contribute to the author of the post, as well as the effort and dedication that the author of the comment made had.
We are not perfect, like any healing project we can make mistakes, by omission and by commission. But we seek to value and encourage Hive users. We believe in engagement.
