@taskmaster4450le - they split four games with San Diego, won the Arizona series and swept the White Sox and gained two games on the Braves. Damn good road trip. That lineup is looking really good, Mets should consider signing Manaea long-term and they are looking like they are going to be tough to beat in September. I’m still not super confident that they can overtake the Braves but for a team that punted the season before it started, Mendoza and Stearns have done a phenomenal job.

Before the trip, after 2 out of three against Baltimore, we all would have signed up for 7-3 trip. Sadly, it could have been better but that is baseball.
Certainly, he deserves a long term contract. Has the perfect personality to be a top line pitcher in a major city. Nothing seems to get the guy emotional. He is calm no matter what happens.
