You know what Task. I se the Mets and truly believe there are teams at this point that wouldn't want to face them. The beat the Phillies 3 out of 4 games right before the season ended. I've said it here and in conversations with folks that the Mets DO NOT fear the Phillies like they fear the Braves. The should have swept the series already but Diaz let them down. Quintana has been a menace on the mound the last few starts. Has an ERA of way under 1. If he can get through six innings without getting shelled the Mets main pieces in the bullpen did not pitch today or yesterday. They are well rested now including Diaz. I would just make sure not to have a problem having a quick hook for Diaz if he wobbles. With all that said, dude the team that probably everyone should fear are the Padres. Otani makes the Dodgers a point of concern also. They have a great lineup although the pitching injuries took its toll.
Oh well, if you want to be the big swinging d*ck, you have to beat some equally as large. No weaklings as you get down to the final 4.
Absolutely if and when they get knocked out it won’t be because it’s the same old Mets. The money, passion of the owner and the money to make the Mets a winning franchise for years to come. I just hope there is an Astros run in there so I can be alive to watch them win a couple of championships @taskmaster4450le
