Great start to the month @taskmaster4450le my only concern is that Cohen approves to become buyers make some dumb trades and set them back for next season. They have to stay the course and build the farm system especially pitching #mlb

They could do that. Money means they might be able to save on prospects by taking on salary. That could help save the prospects.
It seems to be trending that way and perhaps #mets will end up taking a risk on a known potent asset where Cohen says the heck with it he'll take on the money without sacrificing any blue chippers @taskmaster4450le
Yeah. I think he would in the right situation. The problem is that, if a seller, those people tend not to be out there. Hard to sell and buy at the same time.
Alvarez is on fire. Love seeing him hitting bombs. If he hits 30, is he ROY?
It's a tough rookie class @taskmaster4450le he's competing with, but he will definitely garner some votes for ROY, but the Reds along have like three guys that have made that team competitive as well as the D'Backs.
Basically he needs a monster second half and to be a big force in the #mets getting back in the race.
Power hitters seem to garner recognition.
