I think a dark horse will emerge. Maybe San Diego if they can survive Darvish and buy some arms at the deadline.
I have a ugly feeling in my stomach that the Phillies are going to do something special this season. I think that offense and that pitching is going to be monstrous later in the season.
could be. I'd hate to see it. I'd like to see something cool like Arizona last year. I was hoping the Reds could do something with their young talent but doubt it. I wouldn't mind the mets winning if it meant no phillies.
All I want is for the Mets not to embarrass themselves have a decent season and go into 2025 ready to kick ass.
unless they are changing a lot of rules in 2025 you're screwed lol. Maybe 20 strikes per batter or something.
They should be under the luxury tax threshold, some of the younger guys continue to move up the pipeline and they have learned their lesson throwing gobs of money to old ass pitchers.
