I think it's an interesting idea, but I wonder how well it will work. If nobody has hit the threshold, then it might also be tough for a normal user. Maybe they should allow people to use part of the payout for premium costs or whatever.

Yes, I believe as time goes by, these questions and suggestions will come up more often. I don't even know if this is a flat threshold or a dynamic one. For example, if it counts more that you bring in 100 new users that do nothing on the platform, or that you bring in 10 highly active, of which 1 turns premium. Anyway, someone already has 100 signups and didn't reach the claim threshold and Khal didn't say what that is.
