I think that is also a valid reason. It would be kind of weird to see Tesla pushed off the platform for promotion but it could happen due to the politics right now.

They won't directly promote Tesla just like they have been doing until now. Elon will probably be the first person to reach a billion followers on Twitter. Tesla's business will grow with his influence. Moreover, Elon is always 10 steps ahead of other car competitors.
