RE: Guide to Recurrent Posting Operations

in LeoFinance3 years ago

Thank you for your input.

For the sake of clarity, my second account is @jelly-cz and it downvotes stuff I consider downvotable without wanting to spread my main account's mana too thin.

As for your main question, I am not the kind of person to leave unsolicited advice. Anyone is welcome to ask me about my reasons and I am always ready to discuss it with the authors even though the first contact usually contains a threat on their part. Recently, @kirstin was the only one to contact me (and decided to delete their contribution shortly after).

To clarify, I think you read my article well and understood it on multiple levels. One of them was a hidden feedback request so your comment is totally solicited.

Whether something is milking or not is tough to decide. I understand you really care for the community. It is not my first time noticing you. It is difficult to deal with a stranger saying your kid is ugly. Sorry about that. Maybe if the kid joins our sporting club, it can get in shape. There is no way to skip the awkward intro, though.

Do you remember the times @satren.random was posting? Two sentences (sometimes three) with a screenshot from dCity in between. Everyone knew you would be upvoting it so they everyone and their mother ran to upvote it before you (long before HF25). You always did and the stub was on double digit rewards. Did you earn anything? Not at all. It was a community service to be the last one upvoting. Did I upvote to earn the bonus as well? No, I have a spine. Did I downvote to call out low effort? Hell no, I respect your right to be entertained the way you choose even if I might despise it.

It was low effort, but there was a content. I can see different stuff around this time and I am posting a full report shortly (it is a time consuming work). Once again, I appreciate your response. Of all accounts involved, I really did not expect you to be the one to put the time in.

We have different point of views here.
You think somebody should ask you, why you were downvoting his content?
I think, maybe it would be better, to tell someone first, why you think his content is something, which needs a downvote in your opinion?
That would be much more polite, and brings discussion first, not downvotes first.
But everybody is free here to act, downvotes are part of the system.
And bye the way, the content creators you are downvoting are not "my kids", they are independend content creators just like you are.
Some like their content, some do not.
Best regards.

Of course you must handle feedbacks if you are posting on a blockchain, also the negative ones, and nobody was complaining about your downvotes, so they can handle this of course on their own.
I just saw the downvotes and found no reason for that, so its only a general discussion.
Downvotes are negative feedback, but discussion first is usually the better way of giving a feedback for content you dont like, in my point of view.
Best regards.

Lieben Dank für Deinen Support :)
