I think more then being ignored many just don’t know about it.
1/Or maybe, the issues they see as a problem require a whole new blockchain that offers the good, while excluding the bad, like the flawed governance system? Unfortunately, it's more likely that they want control over their own ecosystem.
2/It's more likely a little of both and other reasons as well. Hive has its good side, but it has plenty of flaws too.
