There is no other limits.
The concept of seperation of church and state is not a real thing.
It was never in the Constitution.

The United States hasnt had a war since World War 2.

So this statement is incorrect on this point alone.

Since it isnt a war, no violation. Only Congress can authorize war. That is why we have police actions and other nonsense that, to any rational person, is the same thing.

Yet they get around it since the administration is able to deploy troops as comm-in-chief.
