Value calls money and money always navigates towards purpose which in turn creates value and the cycles goes on. No one will be rich if people didn't give him value. Except he stills them, he is given and if he finds purpose to put it into. He becomes richer.

This is why the rich gets richer and the poor gets poorer. They keep finding where to put the money for value and not for just pleasure and satisfaction.
