RE: Leofinance Mobile App Review: Why I've Started Using the App Again

in LeoFinance • 3 years ago

It's a beautiful app I must say... But I often lose my patience on tht app.... It's slow 😭😭😭😭😭

It takes 100 years (just exaggerating though.. lol) for posts to load. Unlike peakd, the app doesn't encourage me who wants to talk to a lot of people in one day through post engagements. 🥺

I don't know if you've noticed too, the leofinance.io interface does not load fast too. Oftentimes I usually copy post links, edit it to peakd.com before I read and drop a comment 😩

What phone do you have? And what part exactly is slow: the initial start, loading the feed, tapping on a card to view the whole post, or something else?

We haven’t spent a lot of time on performance, but I’d like to look into that more soon.

An Android called Infinix Hot 10T.

Before today, it was the whole thing. But this morning, I decided to use the app and found out the speed has been worked on. It's amazing. The team did a great job with the improvements. Well done.

But it seems I couldn't copy posts links nor add images in the comment box.

While reading posts this morning, there were posts I wanted to save and I couldn't find the spot to copy the link address....did I miss it or it's not part of the UI/UX for now?

At the same time, I saw about two posts on Ape NFT and I wanted to include an image alongside my comment in a bit to ask the authors questions and I couldn't find that. 🥺

Can the team add that too? @shawnlauzon

Glad it’s working faster for you!

You can copy and paste anything into the comment boxes, but yes it’s a bit more challenging because there’s not a rich text editor. It’s something on our list to be added at some point.
