Good day Leos! Last week's LeoFinance traffic report was well received, so here we go again. In the previous post, statistics via Simple Analytics
revealed that Twitter brought more referrals than Google. A flippening had occurred!

Twitter & Google Now Tied For 1st Place

According to Simple Analytics, Twitter & Google are responsible for 3.4 thousand LeoFinance referrals each. That's 6.8 thousand visits in the past 30 days.

Twitter still hodls the lead position, though the numbers are the same. Perhaps Google is trailing Twitter by a few referrals. Simple Analytics doesn't seem to report them to the exact number.

Pageviews Up

Comparing last week's stats, LeoFinance had 223,000 pageviews in a 30 day time period. This week, that number moved up to 255,000! An increase of 32,000 pageviews in the same 30 day time period!

Twitter had the lead for referrals last week with 3.4k, followed by Google with 3.3k. A tie this week shows them neck-in-neck at 3.4k. Altogether, that's an increase of 100 referalls from the big 2.

Stats By Visitors

Instead of viewing the total pageviews for the past month, Simple Analytics also shows the traffic by visitors. Because each visitor to LeoFinance can view multiple pages or bounce without viewing more than one, these stats show great variance.

Below, take a look at the visits to LeoFinance for the past 30 days:

LeoFinance had 54k visitors in the last month! How were visits if we back up a week? I plugged in the numbers which you can see below:

In just a week, visits are up by 5k!

Pageviews are up and visits are up as we can see clearly in the analytics. But referrals were down. If the first two statists continue to increase, referrals from Twitter and Google will certainly follow.

Who Else Drives Traffic To LeoFinance?

Reddit Referrals

Reddit follows the largest two sources of traffic with 970 referrals in the past 30 days. That's up from 765 a week back (also from a 30 day time period) and an increase of 205 referrals!

Facebook Referalls

This week, LeoFinance saw 144 referrals from Facebook. That's almost double the 77 referrals from a week ago. Oddly enough, Instagram doesn't show up in the analytics at all. Facebook & Instagram are two huge areas of opportunity to spread the word about LeoFinance!!!

Not Financial Advice

Stay tuned for next week's analytics as I give updates on the traffic coming into https://LeoFinance.io.

Thanks for reading and as always...

I saw the massive jump in Alexa stats. Next month we'd probably be within Top 100K sites

That's a big milestone indeed. I often wonder how many sites don't use Alexa at all. Without applying their analytics tag, they have no way of tracking a website. I read up on that very subject, but that was 2 or 3 years back. Things may have changed. 👍

I don't know a lot about web analytics. But I suspect the most of the real Top 100K sites are using Alexa. Most blogging platforms and website creators do use Alexa from what I know :)

I think you are correct about that. The article I read pointed out a few big ones that weren't using Alexa (if I remember correctly). But it also said what you said. Most big ones use it. I never added their code to my websites, but they weren't anywhere near the top 100. 🤣
