A Second Layer HIVE Dolphin & LeoFinance Orca!

It doesn't feel like what I thought being an Orca would feel like. Still, there it is. I'm an Orca. Not a HIVE Orca mind you. No. I'm an Orca of LeoFinance!

Up until a certain post by one of the founding Leos, I didn't even know LeoFinance had a vesting hierarchy. If you're current on LeoFinance trending posts, you probably noticed this article.

One Fish, Two Fish - Red Fish, Lion King

The above article is actually the latest in a series by taskmaster. In it, he proposes a LeoFinance vesting hierarchy and bases it using the HIVE equation.

I noticed that at the bottom of the food chain are the Red Fish! A much nicer name than Plankton. And at the top...well he had to create a new tier for the Alpha Leo. The Lion King!!!

LeoFinance Tiers Are Goals To Aim For

Just recently, we honored a Leo (@coyotelation) for reaching a goal that puts him well into whalehood. 10,000 staked Leo! That amount happens to be one of my own goals, though I'll have to reach 5k first.

According to the tiers of LeoFinance, a member needs to stake 812.471 LEO to become an Orca and 8,124.714 to become a whale. With Orca well behind me, becoming a Leo whale isn't that far out of reach. You can see below that I still have a ways to go.

A Second Layer HIVE Dolphin?

If such a thing were to exist, my Hodlings in LEO and other Hive-Engine tokens would make me a HIVE Dolphin. Such a concept doesn't exist because the values of HE tokens fluctuate.

It's a good example, if anything, of how important the second layer is to the overall HIVE ecosystem. I've noticed that moving HBD off of HIVE is becoming less of a practice for me. The tokens are staying here, they're just invested in HIVE dApps instead of only HIVE.

Striving For Higher HIVE Tiers On LeoFinance

Although LEO tokens may not stack up to push anyone into a higher HIVE tier, they do aid in that quest. I should say, they do if you earn LEO by commenting and publishing on LeoFinance.

Go ahead and claim your HIVE earnings right from your LeoFinance wallet if you prefer. As for myself, I'm always bouncing around between LeoFinance, PeakD, and Ecency.

Once you claim your HIVE & HBD earnings, you can decide what to do with them. Power up more HIVE or exchange them into HIVE.SWAP via the LeoDEX. Once you have SWAP.HIVE, you can invest in any of the plethora of second layer HIVE dApps therein.

What Goes Around, Comes Back Around

To wrap it all up, all the HIVE stays here when it's on the second layer. As more interest pours into HIVE, more Hivers will learn about HIVE dApps. They'll come over just like you and I.

As the second layer ecosystem develops, the values of many project will skyrocket. It may take 6 months or 6 years, but I believe it will happen. At such a time, I'll be pouring SWAP.HIVE back into HIVE. And of course, I'll keeping stacking HIVE Power with every HIVE and HIVE dApp publication.

Thanks for reading, for your time, and as always...

Congratulations! You seem to have a well nailed plan with Hive and its second layers. I'm not that organised and more emotional tbh, but I haven't lost faith in Hive. I just see its flaws too often I guess and clinge to what layer suits me and profits me better. I'm just a content creator in here, not an investor.

Thanks Aces. I guess I see myself as both content creator and investor here. It may take awhile before the work really pays off, but I'm okay with that.

We all find ourselves with different needs depending on what place we are in our lives. I'm lucky right now to be in a place where I can keep stacking. 🦁👍🦁

Congrats for your Orca status! May you swim far far ahead hihi

Thanks Mary. I was always a strong swimmer. 🤣

Don't forget to check and see how much LEO you have. I've been giving you some with my votes when you comment on my LeoFinance posts.

Thank you! Actually I do not know how to check that, can you help me?

Of course. You want to go to the LeoDEX. Sign in using either keychain or Hivesigner. You can see all the second layer tokens in your wallet. You've probably built up quite a bit over time. Those can be bought or sold on the market.

Invest more if you see dApps you like, or sell your tokens and get swap.hive. Then transfer the swap.hive to HIVE in your HIVE wallet. Sounds complicated. It's not once you get over to LeoDEX. You can also use Hive-Engine.

Congratulations on being an Orca LEO!

The cool thing about second-tier communities is that we can achieve status that through Hive would become almost impossible. Not only LeoFinance, but other communities also have their hierarchy and this is very motivating.

I'm sure your LEO journey will be very exciting and fun. We will always be around to monitor your progress and I am very happy that more people are determined to achieve their personal goals at LeoFinance. Let's move on!

That's quite achievable seems.
