Hello reader, today I’m going to introduce an amazing NFT-based game on WAX blockchain, named Richy Monday. Richy Monday is an amazing play-to-earn game which offers a 2D game where each player can own a land, where buildings can be placed in order to raise animals, plant and harvest them to get resources that can be sold or traded.
However, this guide will provide you everything you need to become a successful farmer in the RM Metaverse.
RICHY MONDAY: WAX Ecosystem
Since the game is built on the WAX Blockchain, you’ll need a wallet in order to interact with WAX’s DApps, and the most used are WAX Cloud Wallet and Anchor. The main difference between these wallets is about keys managing, where Anchor allows you to own and manage your private key. The choice is up to you.
Once you successfully create your wallet, you are able to interact with DApps, but first you need some WAX to be able to buy some NFTs.
WAX is a crypto token that can be purchased directly on exchanges such as Binance, and once you buy it simply move your balance into your new wallet and that’s it!
The main secondary market is AtomicHub, where you can check all collections available, each one presents different sub-categories that are used to better differentiate NFTs.
RICHY MONDAY: Tokenomics
RM presents an ecosystem based on two tokens: REN Token and ROY Coin that can be swapped to each other.
- REN is the main cryptocurrency which is tradable on exchanges like Alcor. With REN, players are able to purchase NFTs from the in-game shop or exchange it for the secondary token: the ROY token.
- ROY is the in-game currency coin, which can be earned by selling farmed resources in the game.
Buildings are necessary assets that allow users to produce resources. We will get into that below.
An important observation is that the selling price for farmed resources is not always the same, but it depends on supply. Here we have the formula used to estimate the price of your resources.
In order to prevent inflation, due to the increase in farming over time, the ROY pool will decrease the REN farming per day. Since ROY can be exchanged with REN and viceversa it is important to know that the rate changes depending on the available amount of token into the pool.
The token pool gets refilled every time that farmers spend REN to purchase crates, items or NFTs from the shop. 90% of the collected token will return into the pool, while the remaining 10% will be burned.
RICHY MONDAY: How to start
Once you have an account, the first step is to buy or rent a land in order to start playing. If you are a landowner, you need to stake your land. You can choose between four lands, where each one has its own features and utilities.
- Staple Farm (Rare) allows player to get a 10% farming boost and a commission fee fixed to 5% which is applied to everyone who rents on this land. There’s a maximum number of renters, which is 10.
- Lakeland Farm (Epic) allows player to get a 17% farming boost and a commission fee fixed to 10% which is applied to everyone who rents on this land. There’s a maximum number of renters, which is 20.
- Beach Farm (Legendary) allows player to get a 25% farming boost and a commission fee fixed to 15% which is applied to everyone who rents on this land. There’s a maximum number of renters, which is 30.
- Treasure Island (Mythical) allows player to get a 40% farming boost and a commission fee fixed to 20% which is applied to everyone who rents on this land. There’s a maximum number of renters, which is 45.
Concerning the Mythical Land, let me tell you that it is the rarest land available only during the Sea Voyage quest. Players need to embark on a sea voyage and rent ships from the in-game shop and find all the Mythical Lands.
Remember that every 7 days, all renters will be automatically removed on lands they’re currently in, in order to remove inactive players.
RICHY MONDAY: Buildings
In Richy Town there are three different buildings available: Chicken Coop, Greenhouse and Barn. These NFTs and crucial for the RM ecosystem, since they allow players to raise farm animals, plat vegetables and fruits. But how to interact with them? Player needs to stake these buildings in-game and after that, the staked NFT will be burned, and its durability will start automatically. Let’s get into it.
Chicken Coop
This building is used to raise chickens. There are three rarities, each one with different capacity and durability.
- Small Chicken Coop (Common) has a capacity of 5, which means that can be raised only 5 chickens here. Its durability is 38 days.
- Medium Chicken Coop (Rare) has a capacity of 12 and its durability is 40 days.
- Large Chicken Coop (Legendary) has a capacity of 30 and its durability is 45 days.
Greenhouse
There are three rarities, each one with different capacity and durability. Let me tell you that vegetables and fruits are hard to find and for this reason they are the most expensive resources.
- Small Greenhouse (Common) has a capacity of 5, which means that can be planted a maximum of 5 vegetables or fruits here. Its durability is 38 days.
- Medium Greenhouse (Rare) has a capacity of 12 and its durability is 40 days.
- Large Greenhouse (Legendary) has a capacity of 30 and its durability is 45 days.
Barn
This building is used to raise animals. There are three rarities, each one with different capacity and durability.
- Small Barn (Common) has a capacity of 5, which means that can be raised up to 5 sheep, goat or cow here. Its durability is 38 days.
- Medium Barn (Rare) has a capacity of 12 and its durability is 40 days.
- Large Barn (Legendary) has a capacity of 30 and its durability is 45 days.
RICHY MONDAY: Farm Animals
Farm animals are NFTs that can be purchased in-game using REN Token at the shop market. Once staked, these NFTs will be burned and in exchange they allow you to produce resources.
Each animal has its own properties, such as rarity, lifespan, number of slots they take into the building and the resource produced.
Remember that there are Chicken (which produces egg), Cow (which produces milk), Goat (which produces milk), Sheep (which produces wool). All farm animals have the same lifespan regardless of rarity that is 6 days.
RICHY MONDAY: Plants
Plants are NFTs that can be purchased in-game using REN Token at the shop market. Once staked, these NFTs will be burned and in exchange they allow you to produce fruits and vegetables.
Each plant and each vegetable has its own properties, such as rarity, lifespan, number of slots they take into the building and the resource produced.
All plants and vegetables have the same lifespan regardless of rarity that is 6 days.
There are six different fruits: strawberry, grapes, kiwi, watermelon, lemon and dragon fruit.
There are six different vegetables: onion, carrot, eggplant, corn, lettuce and broccoli.
Conclusion
