I've heard wishes from other people but there was one thing stuck with me for a long while now. It was something my father had a few years ago during one of his most vulnerable moments. He wished his father was still alive so he could do something for him. He didn't specify what it was but it made me realize that my Dad has been keeping some regrets deep within him.
Unfortunately, no matter how much I wanted to help him fulfill that wish, my grandpa is no longer around. Told my Dad that whatever it was that he wished he had done for his father, he should know that he had already done so much more for us.
They say that a deep red rose conveys heartfelt regret, hence the photo. It's of a rose blooming in our yard. My own capture, of course.

sometimes someone's company, just presences enriches a social environment, that was the case with your grand father.
Yeah. Sometimes people need an ear to listen. Not my grandfather though, it's my own Dad.
I think most of us have that kind of wish especially those people who don't get the opportunity to take care of their parents after they become capable. Everyone loves their parents but everyone isn't allowed to get the opportunity. That's life.
